it's been a while i know but i'm back again with another video for your viewing pleasure. the links to the videos i mention here can be found in the description box.
Great bait, Mikko. Very nice handywork. If your ever in the States, look me up. You've always got a seat in my muskie boat. True coat epoxy is very good stuff. Joe Peterson is a great guy and hell of a bait builder, himself.
Joe Peterson is literally the best musky bait builder in the US. I was lucky enough that he made me a custom bait and it's literally head and shoulders above everything else
Please do a slower reveal of the finished bait at the end of video, i know you show it in the beginning, but you take us on this amazing making journey and would be great to see the lure one more time. Your work is amazing and we love to see it. 😎
This is one of the most beautiful lures I saw within your videos. I love it. If you would also show a fishing session with your lures it would be awesome. Thank you for the great videos
Dayum! I want to do a carved bait real bad now. My problem is you most likely spent more time on that bait then I have free time in a given year. Awesome bait
Your work is awesome! I have tried many flavors of glide bait and have viewed the weghting video. Most of my attempts only move straight no side to side. I have had success with one shape. Is shape a key factor?
Was such a good and informative video mikko i am watching it a second time 😊 and insanely realistic looking on this lure as well keep the content coming i still have alot to learn from you.😊
Amazing paintjob! One stunning lure there! I got to say the createx pearlized paint you showed in the video is actually one of their old paints 😅👍 so I am sure you just got a lot better and not the createx paints 😊🤟
I know that Rapala 15 years ago had a sub walker which was a glide bait that had some fins on the tail of the bait. I was just wondering what's the lip on the tail of your lure for?
Wow, that's nice. I'm in Minnesota, that's a small bait for us lol. I'm going to make this though, it exactly what the big fish want here. Too bad I can't show you pictures of what that kind of bait would catch.
Hi. I would love it if you would make a video of how to make the "V" shaped stencil you used to dray your angel lines with. I think it should be a foudationel part of any Lure making Master Class. Thank you, Brian F , USN Disabled.
Ah, my SolarBaits fix. As usual, Mikko, your artistry has made my day. I hope that there's some good pike and muskie fishing in the lakes and rivers near your new hometown in Canada. I can't wait to hear (or see?) what sort of strikes this fine lure elicits from big, aggressive fish. Best, Chris P.S. I loved your portrayal of a viewer who whines about super glue and baking soda being better than Bondo!
Hi, CFORfinearts said on his video "How to carv realistic Fish Scales With a Knife" that he learned how to make the stencil for making the angled lines from you. Pleas tell me which of your videos showes how to make this stencil. What is the degree of the angle? how do I make this stencil. I have seen this stencil in maney videos but NO ONE! tells you how to make it, like it is some big secret. Can you pleas help me learn how to make this stencil? Thank you.
i haven't shown how to make one cos i dont think it warrants a video because the tool i use is literally just a V cut in a 50 degree angle. the angle does not need to be 50 it could be anything you personally works for your scale work and shapes your trying to get done in a more consistent manner
@@SolarfallBaits faily new, came out a year or so i think. Swedish. A lot of people are using it here. supposedly, you don't even need a drying wheel. havn't used it myself..

I was LMAO to that super glue baking soda line, as yes, it was nagging inside of me XD
Realistic is an understatement 😳 every bait I make gets a little better I hope to make them look that clean someday 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Very nice! Cool technique for making the scales pop in the final result, thank for showing all those little steps!
Impressive bait, beautiful and a perfect match for a sucker. Very well done.
Not sure how it's possible, but your work just keeps getting better. This is outstanding!
Awesome Mikko! Your work is very humbling.
Yuo are the most talented bait maker ive seen👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Carving those fins is an art in itself! I have been trying it recently and I love it, but wow, it takes time!
Yeah it's stressful
@@SolarfallBaits LOL very true! Its usually worth it though!

Very enjoyable watch. thanks for posting this... always learning.
Thank you for checking out the video
Nice bait 👍 does placing the tie eye either vertical or horizontal have a different effect on the glide of the bait please, or is it just preference?
Its a stylistic choice

It makes the lure glide further

what airbrush is that? looks really good
The one i used on this one is iwata highline
Do you have a video on the lure rotating rack?
I don't
A dive and rise/pullbait would be nice to see you do!
Maybe someday. Those things are pretty interesting
stinnet sticks uses a wood burner to do his scales on his snake walking sticks might be another way for you to try.
Absolutely incredible!

Otroligt vilket jobb du gör Mikko
Beautiful lure

On and off 2 weeks
" Why don't you just use baking soda and super glue? " lmao 👍
Read it with the same nasal voice like in the video 😅

How do you weigh your resin swimbaits?
By putting lead inside to a predetermined spot
Marling Bait's, super glue and baking soda
SolarBaits, baking soda and super glue, no Bondo
Baking soda and super glue. No Bueno.
