I really appreciate that you share so much about your lifestyle and your village. It really is eye-opening to many of us. USA propaganda likes to paint a very ugly picture of Africa and it's nice to take a moment and erase the negativity and replace it with a truer vision. Such beautiful land, communities, people, and practices. We all need a little more wholesome beauty in our lives.

Problem no. 1 is westerners forgetting that Africa is 50 countries with different cultures, languages, problems and blessings. Kenya, Nigeria, Chad, South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, they're all different.

Hi Joy, it's really awesome that you share this beautiful life and great places. I've never been to Uganda, but my brother spent 4 years there being a diplomat and absolutely loved it. His main role was to help bring in the country agricultural funds from the EU. Now he lives in Zambia 😄 Lots of hugs ❤️

That plant is Lantana Camara, yeah! It also has some medicinal uses which is cool. It's a very problematic invasive plant here in Australia haha

I read an old French book about pressing flowers and leaves into animal fat (strained to take away the meat smell), and putting it into the sun to extract the fragrance. There is probably more to it, but I bet a nice plant oil would work well. It might not last to sell, but it would be nice to use.
