I got mine yesterday, over the moon with it. I picked up the first box around 2 months ago and it rekindled my love of Hong Kong cinema. Truth be told I wanted a copy of Crippled Avengers but was blown away by the level of quality. I really love your channel and work sir, your guide to 88 films really helped me. Top stuff.
Love your TAT’s(rockabilly guy here) Southern Screen mag. Showed to deleted scenes from the”Ten Tigers from Kwangtung”! Fu Sheng fighting a guy w/ a Gik! Lo Mang fighting five guys w/ Iron Shields! Have most of these movies on VCD’s 😅need to get the Blue-Rays 😊
Mine seems to have NO Audio. The special features seem fine but so far up to disc 6 (my Young Auntie) none work. Dragon, didn't you have a similar problem with the review discs?
Thank you Dragon for unboxing Shawscope vol 2, which i"ll be getting eventually but i"d rather watch a first unboxing from the expert in our community on Asian martial arts movies, so pleased they"ve gone along with the matching packaging as they did before in vol 1. Vol 3 i guess 😎
Thank you mate, I really appreciate that :) Let me know what you make of it when you do get it ( pretty sure the price will drop a fair whack after the new year, Volume 1 did)
if you switch to Region A (multi-region Blu ray players ONLY) you get the full uncut version of Mad monkey kung fu with the sickening death of the monkey intact
Yes indeed, I had to wait to confirm this with the official discs, that was the case with the review discs too. Seeing more and more dual region encoding now. It’s a good thing!
It’s been quite a while, however phenomenal video as always! Very in-depth and informative, I can’t wait to eventually get my hands on it! Keep up the phenomenal work my friend!
@@TheFanaticalDragon You’re welcome! And I can definitely see why, these are absolutely stacked box sets filled with so many great films and content! And the restorations themselves are fantastic! Also, question for you if you don’t mind.
@@TheFanaticalDragon Thank you! Actually I have 3. 1. What edition of In The Line of Duty I-IV are you getting? Eureka, 88 or both? Same applies to Magnificent Warriors and Angela Mao. 2. Have you ever heard of the Japanese Film, “Demons (1971)”? If so, I’m curious, who do you think will release it? 3. Will you consider getting the Japanese 4K of John Woo’s A Better Tomorrow (1986)?
@@Ifrit007 Only just noticed this mate, sorry for the slooooooow reply. 1) I went with 88 films all the way for ITLOD and Magnificent Warriors and Arrow for Anglela Mao. 2) The Matsumoto movie? I could see Eureka putting that out at some point. 3) No English subs on it sadly, I'm holding out hope of one of the UK labels picking the movies up and remastering them eventually!
Received mine this morning can't wait to get into it.Glorious box set once again😁😁
Nice one! Arrow have absolutely knocked it out the park again. Happy Days!
Super Jealous… can’t wait for mine to arrive. Come on Parcelforce.. looks amazing
It'll be there soon mate, I know it, and I'll be sending you your wee JC present soon to offset the Jelly feelings ;)

Got mine yesterday morning which was a surprise!! Not even had time to open it yet but I’ll do that tomorrow and start a joyous viewing marathon
You'll LOVE it mate, incredible selection and extras, even better than Vol1 overall!
I prefer this selection of movies over Vol. 1 I wonder if they will release more of the modern Shaw action and gunplay films of the 80’s with Vol. 3&4
I am hoping so my friend. Hong Kong Godfather is long overdue for a Bluray upgrade!
Had mine on pre order since Sept.
Not long now..can't wait.
Hope you get it soon Bats!
