You have a few “wet looking” and “one and done” shadow looks already but girl do I love them. I rewatch them all frequently when I’m looking for some inspo. I love you and your channel so much. Sending love! ❤
Sephora has some hidden gems. I am looking forward to the new Luminous 3 series from Clionadh. The sneak peak looks phenomenal. I’ll wait until spring for these Urban Decay shadows. Thanks for your incredibly thorough review.
In the makeup by Mario palette the shimmers have less base pigment because they’re meant to be used on top of the matte shades. That way you can create the contrast and change them depending on what shade you put underneath.
This is a great point, I think the lack of a base pigment makes them more versatile overall. I can put them over any matte color and get a custom shade, in that respect I think they're fantastic.
@@AmandaZ I like a sheer one and done shadow if I’m going for that, especially with a bold lip and the rest of the face clean and minimal. That’s too bad the shadows don’t last for you.
Me too.. the endless chasing of the most natural yet sparkling wet shadow is just exquisite, elegant and forever classic. Is not like the glittery, shimmers, duochome ..etc which some times are just too much and you get bored of it soon..
Im looking for a classy wet look on my hooded all my life eyelids without the glitter. Thanks Amanda your the best! 💜Im thinking I Need A Nude pellette
Moondust singles is my jam! I have lithium and space cowboy on your recommendation and love love love them! ❤ I’m going to look at those new colors…❤❤❤
Thank you SO much for the rundown. I was really tempted by this Moondust palette but after your review I'm pretty content with just Space Cowboy, Lithium, and my other-brand wet-looking glitters
I love watching all your wet-look eyeshadow content! I have the ND I need a nude, makeup by Mario ethereal eyes, as well as the UD moon dust palette you played with in the video. Love all. Slight disappointment with the moon dust palette as the formula is not as special as the singles. But it’s it still beautiful. I love the I need a nude shades and the quality is best of all, especially for lasting power. But for me, I like the make up by Mario sueded mattes in the ethereal eyes and the topper shades are the glossiest looking of all wet-looking eyeshadows I’ve ever tried. I just love that make up by Mario palette and find it the most flattering for me. I ordered a Stila glisten and glow based on you saying they were a great wet-looking option previously. I’m excited to try it. I’m like you and I want to try them ALL.
I also love the MUBM Ethereal Eyes the best!! I think it's my all-time favorite out of any palette I've bought. It's more flattering on me than ND I Need A Nude with my medium olive skin.
Loved this guide, Amanda! I recently picked up the Natasha Denona I Need A Nude palette based on your recommendation, and I can't wait for it to arrive! I also love using the hourglass scattered light shadows for a sort of similar wet-look.
Thank you so much for your help in figuring out if I needed the moon dust palette. I think I will go with the Sephora singles which are on sale and go from there. Thank you again
I love this type of video. You helped me to decide not to buy the Mario palette which I really wanted after I saw how similar it was to the ND and I also bought the UD instead of the Mario one because they have a better pay off and lasting power so THANK YOU.
Lol-ditto on that Space Cowboy!!! I bought four on sale and gave them to hippie friends too (that name!! )! Also got the last purple one. ‘Intergalactic’. They ARE smooth like glass, you can feel it on both your finger and eye. I liked the packaging too, including the little box. I keep them immaculate haha! Love all you do, spot on-this is why I trust you! Also you always look great, so there’s that. ✌️
Hi Amanda, I've just recently discovered your channel. Can I recommend Clionadh eyeshadows? From very wide range of their stained glass collection, shade Trinket very much resembles Space cowboy!! And it is one of their least expensive shades. Also, Grisaille is very reflective cranberry based shadow! Very beautiful.
I got the UD space rider palette for a coworker friend for christmas, she loves makeup and wears almost every day, is one of those who shops in store and knows the mainstream brands, but isn't really "in it" as we are lol, so I think it's perfect 😊.
I've been obsessively watching all of your wet eyeshadow, they are so helpful!! I love Astral solstice from Pat McGrath, but I'm trying to find a dupe that is more travel friendly (sometimes I don't feel like taking a whole eyeshadow palette with me). do you have any recommendations? what are your thoughts on Victoria Beckham lid lustre in chiffon?
Just wondering whether you have ever looked into the Byredo Colour Sticks? I've suddenly become very interested in them and am about to buy my first one (Demerara to use mostly as a cream blush). I managed to finally swatch them in store today and Great Sands is definitely on my list as a wet-look shadow. Although I can't tell if part of the wet look is coming from it being a dewy formula or from the sparkle, or most likely both. Either way, it's something I think you'd be interested in if you haven't tried them already! The brand swatches look incredible online.
Hi Beauty, love this look but just curious if you have ever heard of ever used Tom Fords "eye gloss" its clear but makes any eyeshadow look wet and glossy... its glorious
Thank you Amanda for the video! What eyeshadow base do you use to make your eyeshadows stay? I am struggling to find one that will keep my eye makeup in place:(
I heard some people saying that the moon dust palette is not the same formula than the singles, like they have a little less sparkle, not extremely noticeable but you can tell from up close; how true is that and you still think are worth buying or you should slowly get the singles you love ???
I’ve been heavily considering picking up the MBM but now I’m reconsidering. I don’t have the others here but I’ve had colourpop Ritz for years and heard recently that it’s similar to space cowboy. Where would you rank that formula among all of these? Just trying to get a frame of reference for my decision. Thanks this is super helpful!
i was DYINGGG for the moondust palettes to release in the US, because it felt like a dream come true finally. i ordered it as soon as it came to sephora because i KNEW IT WOULD SELL OUT INSTANTLY when the sale started, and i regret nothing!!! i ADORE this palette, and i’m so glad that i watched this video before placing my sephora order, because i had the other wild dipper single along with the other 2 new shades in my cart, but now i’m just going to get those 2 singles instead of all three of them. they’re absolutely gorgeous. i also have twinkle twinkle and choco excess from the sephora brand, and their amongst my favorites as well. will you be getting the other palette as well??? i’ve seen reviews and it looks gorgeous!!! if anyone has purchased it, please let me know how you feel about it. please and thank you. 🥰🥰🥰
I haven’t found a shadow that looks wetter than space cowboy original, I also have two of the old moon dust pallets and lithium is more wet looking compared to the new single
So excited to try this palette and just wanted to shout out Ulta’s Bounce singles as a cheap dupe 😍 a little more glittery than wet, but they were a staple since I couldn’t spend the money on a single UD shade!
Did they discontinue the Sephora collection twinkle twinkle? I can’t find it😭 looks like there’s a new metal effect one called Milky Way which might have replaced it?
I have the moondust singles in space cowboy and cosmic and have been debating on getting solstice. I’ve added it to my cart and taken it out of my cart probably 10 times during the sale because I can’t decide 😂
Wow ok now youve got me considering checking out a palette i had kind of shrugged off 😅😅🙈 haha. Would loveee to hear your thoughts on the new Huda Pretty Grunge palette & Em Cosmetics Saturn's return!
I can recommend colorfix by Danessa Myricks in colour Ballerina, it's a champagne color with highly reflective wet looking sparkles. I have it in my professional make-up artist kit and I use it a lot.
Which ones have you tried? I also highly recommend keeping the lids moisturized! Using a matte base, matte powder, or matte shadows all over the lid can often dull certain shadows! My best tip would be to keep the lid as bare as possible and press with fingers. I hope this helps!
It could just be the lighting - I find in natural light, they don’t look as wet, but lower lightings they totallllly do and I get tons of compliments! :)
@@AmandaZ I just bought this moondust palette last week, the one with the space cowboy shade. I should’ve waited for your review. I’m darker than you, like Rihanna’s skin tone or Huda Kattan. Could that be the reason? Space cowboy from this palette did not look wet
I'm around your complexion, I think, and Space Comboy doesn't work for me either. I recently tried the Hourglass Scattered Light eyeshadow in Ray and it was sooo pretty and what I would have imagined Space Cowboy to look like.
I don't own Space Cowboy but I've tried it a few times in the store and the fallout is a given. However, I own ritz from colourpop and not only does it look exactly the same on the lid, but it has zero fallout.
Good question! It depends on the shadow. I find that mature kids do best with smaller glitter particles- I think the ND I need a nude palette would work beautifully on mature lids and can be customized
Also Amanda - if you don’t have them, you *need* the glimmering creatures shadows from glaminatrix cosmetics. They’re not necessarily ethereal and wet-looking, but they are the most STUNNING shadows I’ve ever used and I have used pretty much everything you have (a lot of which I bought because of your influence). I deadass get out of bed excited to use them.
If you wanna achieve wet look you better use cream textures. I can say it as a professional make-up artist. Or use cream shadow and powder shadow on top for more intense effect and more lasting power.
The queen of wet-look eyeshadows is back!! 🤍🎉
I'd really love to own a palette of one & done & wet looking eyeshadows. Please create it 😅❤
My absolute dream 🥺 maybe one day
My favorite content! Can't wait to watch! In these times, we need a distraction from the world crumbling all around us.
Hang in there sending you all love 💫
Agreed!

I see your point here! Just not great for a one and done effect. If the palette as a whole lasted longer on my eyes I'd be sold!
@@AmandaZ I like a sheer one and done shadow if I’m going for that, especially with a bold lip and the rest of the face clean and minimal.
That’s too bad the shadows don’t last for you.
Love the wet-look eyeshadows, my all-time favorites for many years. By watching this video I found out that I need to purchase a space cowboy single.
Me too.. the endless chasing of the most natural yet sparkling wet shadow is just exquisite, elegant and forever classic. Is not like the glittery, shimmers, duochome ..etc which some times are just too much and you get bored of it soon..
I love the The Sephora collection shadows! They are on sale for $5 plus the 30% off!
Im looking for a classy wet look on my hooded all my life eyelids without the glitter. Thanks Amanda your the best! 💜Im thinking I Need A Nude pellette
You need to try Kulfi’s Zari Eyes Crème eyeshadows in Sona Sona & Bronze Brocade. They are absolutely stunningly beautiful!
I would love to see a version of this video using only Indie brands! Glaminatrix Nearly Neutral palette is full of wet-look shimmers!
Moondust singles is my jam! I have lithium and space cowboy on your recommendation and love love love them! ❤ I’m going to look at those new colors…❤❤❤
I can’t with UD singles being $24 and after getting the ND needa nude I just can’t justify me getting a moondust palette.
Thank you SO much for the rundown. I was really tempted by this Moondust palette but after your review I'm pretty content with just Space Cowboy, Lithium, and my other-brand wet-looking glitters
I've tried some Moira potted eyeshadows and i was blown away , i can't put them down and i own a lot of indie eyeshadows!

You sold me on the rebel star shade. It’s gorgeous
I want the space cowboy base color without the sparkle. I want that glossy brown colo
Thank you so much for your help in figuring out if I needed the moon dust palette. I think I will go with the Sephora singles which are on sale and go from there. Thank you again

You should try Bobbi Brown’s Moonstone luxe eyeshadow ✨🤌🏼 One of my most sparkling wet effect eyeshadows I own
Best descriptions and such a huge help. Thanks so very much!!❤❤❤
I love wet looking eyeshadows since always. Since I remember I was looking for the best ones.
You are my go-to for natural and easy eyes!

For me solstice is very wet looking as well ( and my favorite) 😊
The day you get to collaborate with a makeup brand I will be buying everything in your collections!!!
These videos are my most favorite. I’m way too obsessed with these kind of eyeshadows.
Super informative and I truly appreciate the structure and work you are putting into these videos. Thank you!
Fabulous!! Wet look eyeshadows are my favorite!!! Thank you, Amanda.

Beautiful palette, out of my budget, I just ordered the Sephora singles in your favorite shades, thank you for the recommendation
I really hope you review that new Merit limited edition eye shadow shade!
Hi Beauty, love this look but just curious if you have ever heard of ever used Tom Fords "eye gloss" its clear but makes any eyeshadow look wet and glossy... its glorious

The palette SC is more sparkly than the single IMO. I have both. But it may not appear as wet.

Loved this video. You are excellent at explaining everything. Really great! 😘
Oh man!! So excited for this video.🎉. My space cowboy came really dry 😢 is there a way to fix it? Love you❤
Thank you so much for giving us your honest opinion 🙏😉
My favorites... so excited to watch!! (over and over :-))
I haven’t found a shadow that looks wetter than space cowboy original, I also have two of the old moon dust pallets and lithium is more wet looking compared to the new single
Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy my fav
Never clicked so fast I love these videos. ❤ thank you darling x
So excited to try this palette and just wanted to shout out Ulta’s Bounce singles as a cheap dupe 😍 a little more glittery than wet, but they were a staple since I couldn’t spend the money on a single UD shade!
I love your channel so much.❤😊
Love your videos about wet looking eyeshadows!!
Which one has sparkliest shades? Moondust palette or I need a nude? Can somebody help me?
Literally wait for your videos x
Did they discontinue the Sephora collection twinkle twinkle? I can’t find it😭 looks like there’s a new metal effect one called Milky Way which might have replaced it?

Wow ok now youve got me considering checking out a palette i had kind of shrugged off 😅😅🙈 haha. Would loveee to hear your thoughts on the new Huda Pretty Grunge palette & Em Cosmetics Saturn's return!
I bought the ud palette and I’ve used it everyday 🎉
Great video! How do you think the moondust singles compare to the hourglass scattered light pots?
I can recommend colorfix by Danessa Myricks in colour Ballerina, it's a champagne color with highly reflective wet looking sparkles. I have it in my professional make-up artist kit and I use it a lot.
This was very helpful Thank You👍👍
My fav videos!
How similar are the Roen singles to the palettes? Because I’m not sure I like the single summer disco but the quads still look amazing.
Do you, Amanda, or anyone else have a good dupe/alternative to the Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat in Peach?
Why don’t the moondust shadows look wet on my lids? What am I doing wrong, maybe I’m applying it wrong?
Which ones have you tried? I also highly recommend keeping the lids moisturized! Using a matte base, matte powder, or matte shadows all over the lid can often dull certain shadows! My best tip would be to keep the lid as bare as possible and press with fingers. I hope this helps!

Moondust have never worked for me, I have never got the hype. Sold all of them off, glitters from I need a nude are a totally different story.
I'm around your complexion, I think, and Space Comboy doesn't work for me either. I recently tried the Hourglass Scattered Light eyeshadow in Ray and it was sooo pretty and what I would have imagined Space Cowboy to look like.
Have u tried the color pop jelly shadow?
I get a lot of glitter fall out under my eyes when I use Space Cowboy - any tips to avoid that?
I don't own Space Cowboy but I've tried it a few times in the store and the fallout is a given. However, I own ritz from colourpop and not only does it look exactly the same on the lid, but it has zero fallout.
Do wet look eyeshadows make fine line on mature eyes worst ? Thanks 😊
Good question! It depends on the shadow. I find that mature kids do best with smaller glitter particles- I think the ND I need a nude palette would work beautifully on mature lids and can be customized
I dont see twinkle twinkle on sephoras site. When i search it, it vrings me to glazed donut. Do you know if this is the same just renamed?
@littleladylovely Twinkle Twinkle is showing online in my country it's #362
@tomjones2157 Thanks, I will check it out again!!
These are really nice on the eyes but man, it always ends up alllllll over my face!
The one drawer I never declutter is my Moondust drawer. It's historical. Obviously I'm a Moondust fan.
Not to be dramatic, but the moondust palette is a Must Buy.
Also Amanda - if you don’t have them, you *need* the glimmering creatures shadows from glaminatrix cosmetics. Are any of these plastic free glitters?
Does anyone have the Danessa Myricks Colorfix Liquid Pigment in Milky Way?
Have you tried fembot by REM?
Moral of the story: everyone needs space cowboy
I actually prefer the texture of ritz from colourpop, which looks exactly the same on the lids but has a lot less fall out.
😂
❤❤❤
🙌
🎉❤❤❤
Haven’t you done this video like 10 times before ?
If you wanna achieve wet look you better use cream textures. I can say it as a professional make-up artist. Or use cream shadow and powder shadow on top for more intense effect and more lasting power.
I take it you have Natasha Denona's "Galaxia" that appears in the Mini Retro and Mini Starlette palettes?... 🤔🤍
Best descriptions and such a huge help. Thanks so very much!!
