I love wet look eyeshadows on just bare lids. I have dark circles and my lids have it’s own shade and it just makes eye shadow less fussy for me. It’s like a controlled grunge look without much work. ❤️❤️

I appreciate how thorough you are with all the shadows. Instead of just swatching on your hand you take the time to put it on your eyes which probably takes a lot of time since removing glittery eyeshadow is a task 😂 and the shadows look so different on your hand vs your eyes, I can really get a sense of how they would really look♥️ ♥️ ♥️
I am from South Africa , aged 76, and loved your videos for a couple of years. I enjoy your breakdown of the ingredients. I am into 'pop' and your description about less base colour giving more translucence is enlightening . I cannot identify so rely on your recommendation of products

i feel like the stila glisten and glows existed before but we were all in glitter topper mode and didn’t care about them? but maybe they redid them because i can remember people saying the satin ones weren’t as good. oh how the turntables.
I am so excited that someone finally talked about the Stila Glisten and Glows!!! I swatched them at Ulta and have been wondering why no one has said anything about them, but the queen has now spoken!!!👑
Because Stila eye glitters have a bad reputation of drying out after a month of being opened
I ran to Ulta and swatched the Stila eyeshadows today and no joke they are beyond STUNNING….. I don’t think I’ve ever had that like adoration and excitement for a product in a long time.

Look into the Dose of Colors single shadow in the shade Caffeine Queen. It’s similar to Sephoras Choco Excess, but even more beautiful. Seriously stunning 😍

I been a huge fan of the wet pearl look for the past five years, thank you for this video!!!
The problem I have with this kind of product is that they appear glossy only under direct light. Otherwise, the wet effect is gone but the microglitters are still visible and they appear just like chunky particles. Ritz does that, for example. I wonder if the ones with a finer texture are better in this respect?
@R.C. I should definitely try them... Unfortunately the shade that I really want is Space Cowboy and I think it's not available anymore here in Europe, not even online😕

The Sephora Collection has some amazing wet-looking eyeshadows. Take a look, there are some other amazing ones such as The Milky Way, To the Moon and Back, and First Light.

An alternative to Urban Decay's Solstice is Revlon's Rose in those eyeshadow sticks they released last year. THEY'RE SO GOOD.
I ordered a sample from the brand site of the rituele de fille eye gloss In serpent to try (I mentioned in my order that you sent me). I did not expect to love that shadow as much as I do. I feel SOOO ALLURING AND SEDUCTIVE in that shade. It’s unlike anything I own.

I grabbed the Sephora Collection in Demanding, which is another great wet-looking shadow you might check out. It had great staying-power too! ❤️

I recently bought some Ulta shadows on sale as per your recommendations and they really are so wet looking! I got the matte cream shadow in Game over and the bouncy eyeshadows Champagne sorbet and Italian ice. I tried layering the matte shadow under the bouncy shadows but it seemed to dull the shine just a little bit for me. I like wearing it on its own though, very natural looking. Champagne sorbet in particular brightens up my whole face so much ^^
So glad you are enjoying them!!! I like to use the matte cream shadow just in the crease and keep the lid bare to retain the shine 😍

Hello Amanda! Thank you for the wonderful review! I recommend you to try also the Bobbi Brown Luxe Eyeshadow in the shades : Moonstone and Sun Flare, they are absolutely stunning and reflect light in a flattering way on the eyes. 😊

It helps your listeners to fully understand the whys, how etc. I look at many content creators and they just say why they like a certain product and then try it on or they show you how to put it on. So excited for this! I have over a hundred eyeshadow palettes and countless singles, but my very favorite, the one I reach for before all others, is my Ulta cream shadow, especially the shades Vinyl, Pretty in Pink, and Game Over. A one and done look, or a full eye using these as a base, is my favorite, easy look.

I wore it to work yesterday and a co-worker just stopped me mid-sentence and said, “What is on your eyes? It looks so glistening! Like water.”…. And I thought, “Yes, Amanda! Come through!”

I only have oxidized olive and it is beautiful but it’s not super shiny or wet. More satin.

Colourpop supershock in lightening bug is EXTREMELY reflective & tge texture is different from all other shupershocks. It's literally like mirrored glass but in goldish/copper color. It's insane & a must have.
I love the Kokie cosmetics liquid eyeshadows, they aren’t particularly wet looking but I think you would like them :)

I have watched this video at least 3 times in the last 24 hours. I bought UD Solsitice last night after going to Ulta “just for” the new Clinique black honey lipgloss… I am 55 years old and not ready to be boring….😜 I used LM Au Naturel on my lids and crease. Then Solstice ON the center lid… OMG!!! I love this color. Thank you!

I’ve been trying to get KVD Flash Storm for so long, but I can never find it! 😩 Electro Bolt, to me, is the most stunning and multidimensional, but Idk how wet it looks in comparison to the other shades. Anyway, thanks for the recs!

Y'all PLEASE try JD Glow 'Unexpected'. That's the most wet looking gorgeous shifting shadow and the texture is a dream. It's also a huge pan and only $8 sth.

If any of your cream products try out the best thing you can do is get Inglot Duraline Eyeliner sealant. It revives any dried out cream product that I’ve ever used it in without changing the formula.

The only eyeshadows i ever use continuously (which are mentioned) are Space Cowboy and Choco Excess. I'm super low maintanence with my makeup but these do a whole lot for me. Sometimes if i am feeling for something extra lux though i will use my Dior quad in Mitzah, but thats for really special occasions. Choco Excess is my everyday go-to.

Sephora stick shadow Nacre is a Dupe for CT Oyster The mua at the store duped it for me. I get waterproof and it doesn’t budge. Why isn’t anyone duping with Sephora shadows. Kudos to you.

I think one thing I would say about the whole Ritz vs Space Cowboy. I bought Ritz first and it dried out so quickly I ended up buying Space Cowboy anyway. That and colorpop shipping to me was absolutely ridiculous. No dollars saved 😂
KVD had some that were stunning, but I think might have been temporary for the holidays. I wish they would make them permanent if they’re not. I wanna try these new Stila ones you’re showing us for sure.

i really wish ulta/sephora affiliate links would be compatible with apps so i could shop from my phone the same way i usually do, but give creators their commission. i try to use them whenever appropriate and possible, i just wish the experience was simpler for mobile-exclusive users. i also don’t know if logging in, or browsing the site and/or buying other things affects the commission. i know there’s nothing you can do about this, i’m just venting that i think there should be some new affiliate tech. i think creators might lose out on some deserved sales commissions due to users avoiding mild inconveniences.
