I always get a little sad when creators say they aren't going to swatch a product because we can't get it. I'm like, "thank you for thinking about us but my eyes need to see it please..." 😅 Swatches are so incredibly pleasing to the eyes and that way I can see if I have anything similar in my collection. So, thank you. 😊🥝💚🖤
It's also helpful, if you know the shades and want to compare, especially if you look for a replacement...
You may be the type to get sad when that happens, but if you swatch something that is no longer available? People get toxically angry! And the spam and flame the creator, so it's best to avoid doing so it's best to avoid doing so

Thanks a lot for the video I love it!! Note: Danesa Myrick colour fix glaze formula are wet eyeshadow looks and long lasting. If you choose the clear shade you can transform any colour to wet look.
Chantecaille “starfish” is a gorgeous color. I have dark brown eyes and pale skin and it brings a magic to my face when I wear it. ❤
You could make a swatch diary made of kraft paper so you can always reference colors that look similar! and swatch the ones you are decluttering too, for memories!

I agree, the Sephora collection single shadows are such high quality! I’ve been buying them for about 5 years now and they’re worth it every time (I’ve tried and liked all the finishes expect for the mattes, if anyone is tempted).
We love the same types of shadows, so I love when you do these DEEP DIVES!! May I recommend 2 of my favorites-KIKO Milano Water Shadow in the shade 200 (there are others too) and Palladio Crushed Metallic Eyeshadow in Stellar (kinda hard to find). Thanks for all the effort and time that you put into these videos, I have purchased so many shadows that you have featured.

Chantecaille's Cheetah is AMAZING. Wearing it today. I'm more of a sparkly light beige on the lid kinda gal and this fits the description perfectly. It's super, SUPER pretty.
I’ve tried MANY brands expensive high end to less expensive. My favorite is ColourPop. I love that they are high end quality without the high end price. They are vegan, cruelty free, stay put ( I live in high humidity Florida ), huge selection, extremely affordable & last forever without going bad. They have me hooked for life lol. 💖💖💖

One question regarding CT Eyes to Mesmerize; how do you make them last? I bought Exaggerations eyes after watching you using it, but I can't make it work. It looks great when I apply it, but after a few hours the pigment is gone and I'm left with a glittery mess.. Do you prep or set yours in a certain way?
Try using a matte shadow under it or just in the crease! Have you tried the about face matte fluids or the ulta matte cream shadows? Those are my favorite for prep!
I love your videos like this, it took me awhile to get to it because I wanted uninterrupted time and I took notes! I'm such a nerd! 😂
So, I bought VB velvet when it came out - had never had a lid luster before but has wanted them for years and couldn’t resist anymore when she gave me a wearable green! But mine was dry, flakey, glitter fall out for days, and sloppy pigment. So unlike how it swatches here and in over reviews I’ve seen. Am I missing something? Did I just get a dud? Their customer service was fantastic, I’ll also say.

Are you recording In a dark room? I can’t tell what the colors look like. And this is just a personal preference but a white background looks better and brighter makes colors of makeup truer. Also a true over head looks better this is tiny bit at weird angle and too far

Do you think the revlon caramel and the Maybelline high roller are comparable to the CT oyster pearl? I keep seeing that they are dupes, but the only opinion I trust is yours. Colorwise since they are completely different formulas?
High roller and oyster Pearl are indistinguishable on the eyes. The color differences between them are minute! As you say, the formulas are completely different though.

I would love to see these swatched by color rather than formula. A lot of these colors look exactly the same to me; I can’t see the differences if they’re not side my side. And it would be nice to look at a bunch of similar colors in different formulas so you can pick which formula suits your needs best.
To me they all look exactly the same too, except that green one and the blou one, but all the other ones you could not tell apart when worn on the eye.

Do you ever think of separating your eyeshadows by colour family and then decluttering that way? It seems like you have many shadows of similar colours, granted in different formulas. If you were to looks at colours more than company you might find that you have a more edited and considered collection. Not saying that you can’t keep different formulations but it might be interesting and might make one think before buying a shadow of the same colour to one that you already have.

Bronze, taupe, copper, and gold. Basically from the first shot of the top of the basket, they all looked like versions of these same 4 colors. I bet you could make all your same looks with a good selection of 4 of those singles and declutter the rest. But where's the fun in that?

I bought the Sephora Colourful Eyeshadow in Twinkle Twinkle on your recommendation and it is PERFECT. The smooth, small, and close together glitters with the sheerer tan base make it look even more like a TRUE wet look, as opposed to the wet glitteriness of Space Cowboy or Colourpop Ritz (both of which I also absolutely love)

You should categorize by color. There are basically 4 colors over and over… it will help you curate the collection-if you ever want to minimize them! They are very pretty though!

I love this video because I’m recently into the “one and done” shadow but I feel like we’ve been looking at the same 4 colors over and over again. Would really like to see a “one and done” favorites video. Which one out of all of these is your favorite brown. Which one out of all of these is your favorite green. And I like the way she compared the Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury. Maybe compare all of the similar colors and let us know which one is the prettiest, longest lasting and most affordable.

Sephora's Twinkle Twinkle is my MVP when it comes to toppers - it goes with so many palettes I own, as if it's the shimmer that's been missing in the palette! And I got it because you recommended these eyeshadows as an alternative to Urban Decay's single shadows! Sadly, Urban Decay isn't available in my country anymore (so I can't experience the Space Cowboy shadow lol), so thank you to the moon and back for recommending Sephora's single shadows! ❤
I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps my products as long as they still work..I would however suggest if you've had the supergoop for to long to get rid of those. The spf goes off and is not as useful even though the product may still feel good but the spf may not even be working anymore

When you said "Love spell" I had like a visceral reaction. Isn't that what that scent from Victoria's Secret was called that reached cult status like 15 years ago?
Pausing the video to say that when it comes to one-and-done shadows, the L'Oréal Infallible one in Bronzed Taupe is absolutely perfect!
It doesn’t work with my fairness/ undertone.
@@ambergerhelper7852 yes its pretty dark on my fair/cool skin tone 😢 plus I find most Taupe shades pull a neutral/warm brown and not as grey/cool brown as I remember from high school when I used to wear nothing but Taupe browns and light pinks.

Thank you, Amanda. Okay, this is not a bash, because it's giving me leads on things to look at that are in your give away pile. Hehehe... I think your lights might be blowing out the nuance of many of the finishes. I'll watch again on a different monitor, to see if it's my screen, but that's how it appears to me. Also, on my screen, nearly all of your favs appear warm, but not red-warm - definitely on the warm side of neutral. Again, that may be the lighting, my monitor, or how they actually look, and that's all I can see because much of the nuance is blown out by the lights. For example, nearly every color you call taupe looks reddish, rather than brownish, or greyish.
Okay, my skin undertone is nearly identical to Hanna Louise Poston, but don't have the deeper, warmer hair & eyes. I was a light pastel brown that oxidized easily to blonde, with murky, grey-green eyes. Now I'm salt and pepper. These days, I can't even wear brown or most taupe brow products: they look pinkish/warm mauve against my coloring; before I went grey I could wear them more easily. Anyway, I have superficial sallowness (which increased with age,) as well as redness, that I combat with base products, but I'm so muted, that anything with a modest amount of warmth, that washes out my eyes to look grey, and ends up looking bruisy on my skin. That said, I can tell you that UD space cowboy, and colourpop ritz, are too warm on me. In fact, many of the ones you go "meh" on look like they'd work better for me.😏🙃😆I'm stating this just in case there is anyone who has similar coloring.
That all being said, my fav colours are black, brown, and orange, so I'm not anti-warm, at all. I'm always on the look out for lip hues in those families, but am a lot more persnickety about cheek and eye colors. I enjoy seeing your fav greenish colors, because I'm on the lookout for a MAC Old Gold pigment dupe. I've seen a couple, but haven't had an opportunity to swatch. I'll wear a color like that, whether or not it looks good near my eyes.😉
Lastly, if you were a loose eyeshadow person, I'd suggest you review a few from lily lolo. They are fun, wet or dry. Thanks again, Amanda.

I enjoy using my bronzer as an eyeshadow for every day
I have only one cream eyeshadow that i wanted for everyday wear one and done and looks like no makeup makeup is the revlon caramel shade. So happy you featured it , looks natural but pretty and you look instantly put together last all day doesnt crease and isnt super sparkly. Everyone should have this particular shade affordable too.
You want the Chantecaille Elephant! Rhino, cheeta, and giraffe are also nice, but Elephant is IT.
These videos are so helpful! And I wish I got to purchase the pop shots. I didn’t know they existed until it was too late. They’re all discontinued now :/ it’s such an alluring product I wonder why they stopped producing it 🤷🏻♀️

I’m about 18 minutes in and I can see you gravitate toward the same tones in every brand (champagne, copper, bronze, gold, gold/green). I am exactly the same but I go to all cool tones. I loved the Rituel de Fille Flora and Andromeda because they were more cool tones 😊 Thanks for showing all the different brands/formulas.
