  • Our 10 year anniversary cruise to Alaska on Quantum of the Seas. We spent two days before our cruise in Seattle and went to Pike Place Market, Crab Pot, and Salish Sea Tours.

I can’t comment on your harmony of the seas video. We were on same cruise. Going again I. A few weeks so was watching you all as we are going with nieces and nephews. First time cruising with kids. I’m so excited! When you shared the piano guy it was some of our group in the video. Then I looked at my little reel and you all are in it! Standing on other side of piano guy! Small world! 😂

Our kids are also obsessed with cruising, they pick it over Disney (almost) every time!

Wow, you guys had amazing weather! Can I ask what hiking/kayaking excursion was that in Juneau you guys took? Definitely want that same experience on my trip.

Yes! We booked through Royal Caribbean's shore excursions and it was "Mendenhall Glacier Canoe and Trek." The company that runs it is ABAK Wilderness Trips. We always suggest booking with Royal Caribbean even if it is more expensive. If any excursions or ports are cancelled due to weather they will give you a full refund!

Thanks for posting such a great review. Would you share if you would recommend that hotel you stayed at in Seattle? We are doing a similar itinerary net summer.

We loved our hotel! The Fairmont Olympic was absolutely worth the price. It is one of the oldest hotels in Seattle and service/amenities were impeccable. It was expensive but we decided to splurge for our 10 year and it was most definitely worth it! One of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at.
