Love this quick helpful demo. One note of warning, though. As someone who uses this functionality often I can tell your readers that some PDF's don't read very well. Some you will only be able to see the first page or some of the data elsewhere. There is a complex fix for this which uses VBA and Power Automate to convert the file to Word, then back to PDF! But if you want to do that manually it means the Get Data functionality will work on your new PDf file.
The best tutoral video I have seen - short and to the point - no clutter. Oh, by the way the video is not 1 minute long - it's only 58 seconds 😄. Being pedantic.
Oh, this is what exactly what I wanted. Though I had watched this tip somewhere else but forgot to apply. I'm happy I haven't worked on the new project yet which involved copy table from pdf. I'll see it tomorrow if that works for me. Let me set a reminder to use the trick😅.
What version of Excel does this work on? On both my Mac and PC I only have the option to get external data from access, from Web, from text or from “other sources“ but PDF is not one of them.
Nice video, can I ask a question? I had 4000 pages of pdf file, how can I import this data to excel? because my Ryzen 5 7535HS and my I3 11 series apparently couldnt do that much of import. Can still import it without split the PDF? Thank you
I just tried this on my own but I don't have the PDF feature w/in the "Data" tab in my 2019 Excel version. I tried doing this in my free-based 365 Excel but nothing there either. Do I have to pay for a 365 subscription to access the Data/PDF feature?

Try under the new query button in the data tab menus. You will see “from file” there.

Yes, neither do I. I think this demonstration is for 365 Excel (premium, paid subscription). I have the 2019 Office suite. Disappointing.
@@chrisvee1004 I have the 365 suite and also don't have this option.

What if my pdf’s table keep changing based on new data?
When imported all my values are “null”, anyone else have this issue?

You can solve the problem by opening the PDF in Word and, after that, by copying (with a simple "copy and paste") the table in Excel
@@92ElFlaco I tried that but it says converting PDF to Word is a subscription feature with adobe
