I fell in love with the 195 watching Curtis’ show, The Aviators, a few years back. Now, I’m the proud owner of a Cessna 195… in Flight Sim 2020, but it feels so real. Glad to see he’s still involved in aviation!
We had two 195s based at the airport where I worked in the tower. I liked calling traffic, telling someone to follow the Business Liner on final. The pilots seemed to get a kick out of that.
My cousin owned that yellow and white 195 at one time. It was an N registration at the time. It was the plane for which I had my first flight when I was very young in the early 70's. I remember it was BIG and there was no way I could see over that instrument panel. 😁
This brings back great memories. When I was a teenager (about 35 years ago), a good family friend owned a Cessna 195 (N195BG) and took me and my best friend up in it a few times. It was also the first and only GA plane my mom ever flew in. She came with us once and got to sit right seat and have a go at the controls for a few minutes while we were over UC Davis.
Look, it comes down to this: White men should only ever be allowed to dance *ONCE.* With their daughters at their wedding reception. And of course with their wives at their own reception. That’s it!
DON'T FORGET THE CESSNA 195 THAT CRASHED IN THE TRINITY MOUNTAINS, CALIFORNIA DURING WINTER WHERE 3 PEOPLE STARVED TO DEATH IN 1967. NO ONE COULD FIND THEM UNDER THE SNOW. MIRACULOUSLY THEY LIVED 2 MONTHS IN THE PLANE AND MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR LOCATOR BEACONS TO BE PUT IN ALL PLANES. READ ABOUT IT IN "FINDING CARLA"!!!!!!
I was at Oshkosh this year
TON'S of 195's there!!
Thank you, -195 Aviators for keeping this beautiful plane alive, and thank you, AVweb, for this video.
Love the 195! Awesome, growling radial engine. Such beautiful, classic lines. GORGEOUS!!
...who doesn't love this aircraft...could watch this for hours. Thx AVweb!

I think it's one of the best looking airplanes out there.
Such a lovely aircraft. Great video too!
Blues Brothers have me chills, and your plane is gorgeous.

Thst is truly a classic one of the most beautiful lanes ever made
Nothing like that big round tail. That why I own a 170. Beautiful Airplane!
It was awesome to see a lot of y’all at KFSO and your beautiful planes
Beautiful, historic airplane. Great video.

A lovely looking aircraft !!
These are so incredibly gorgeous airplanes. It's amazing to think this airplane and the V-tail Bonanza hit the market at the same time.
The 195 is a mighty handsome airplane.
My wife liked the polished ones so much she said I could get one... now I just need to learn to fly!
go for it !
What a beautiful bird
Beautiful! Serwus!
Thanks
beautiful
I want one of these so bad. Just got to get a bit more tailwheel time.
In 1950 the 195 was a Cessna 120 owners dream. If only you had the $12,000.
When I see a 195 I have a tendency to stare.
nothing like mellow rumble of these engines.
I regret that I can only give one thumb up.
Imagine all the ground looping at that field that weekend...
Magic.
Lovely ❤
One day!
Those look nice
Saw a nice one for sale online a few minutes ago. Great plane, but I'm not a pilot -yet.
How many still flying?
Is there a version without the annoying music? I’d like to hear what they are saying.
Love the plane but, please, Cessna 195 owners attempting to dance... 🤣
Look, it comes down to this: White men should only ever be allowed to dance *ONCE.* With their daughters at their wedding reception. And of course with their wives at their own reception.
That’s it!
Realy clouser design to a birds 👏 like it
Pretty airplane, does what it was designed to do, just obsolete on arrival. The jet age had already arrived. And fighters sported retracts.
Bet that thing would do well with a turbine conversion
Location?????
I love this plane so much. ✈️❤️
