5:17 WOW that point was actually one of the best I’ve ever seen. Reminiscent of mid 2000s Nadal on clay, seriously. Crazy how Alcaraz completely went away for the rest of the match after that though… from 7-6 1-0 40-0 to 7-6 1-6 1-6…
I really waited soo long to see who would give us something different, i don’t think the two can be likened to Rafa or RF, they are just an entertaining rivalry if there is anything like that, no bad blood, still smiling even when they loose a point, no bitterness, no tension, no tears but pure entertainment, i wishing they could stay that way ❤❤🙏🙏🤗🤗😂😂
It is heartwarming now, to look into perspective, and realize where it is Sinner at this moment. Australian Open is every tennis players' dream. It's always a pleasure to watch these two clashing on court. Great talents!
Yep 👍 The era of the rivalry between Djokovic / Nadal / Federer is over. Djoko is still around, but not for very much longer - so it’s great to see the next generation of top players competing at the uppermost level. 👍🎾👍
I've been watching this channel for a long time, definitely deserves more than a subscription; or at least a million subscribers. Thank you, sir, for your great efforts to provide us with great videos of tennis matches.
They need to play at a grand slam final… or just a grand slam in general; haven’t seen this matchup best of 5 since USO2022 QF. I think if they play on clay, Alcaraz should have the upper hand because the slower conditions will make it harder for Sinner to hit through him, similar to Indian Wells last year. I think at either hard court slam, Sinner gets a slight edge because both courts play relatively fast. Grass is anyone’s guess, but I lean Alcaraz just because he’s a bit more proven on grass and I think his variety would do a lot to help him.
I love seeing these two playing each other. They suit each other and enjoy playing each other May they both be fit for the French open Thankyou to both of you and your teams take care of yourselves

seems like Alcaraz brings out the best in Sinner maybe it's because Alcaraz is younger and Sinner didn't like that Alcaraz is already overtaking him in achievements when he was the "next big thing" first Sinner almost always plays his best against Alcaraz
This is about adapting to different playing styles in tennis. Sinner prefers to play against players whom he can dominate on the backhand crosscourt, but struggles against players who take the initiative away from him on that same diagonal. That's why he had more difficulty against Medvedev and Djokovic. Now, he has found the key to at least match up against those two by introducing variations in his backhand and, above all, by improving physically. Now, he positions himself better to hit the ball, allowing him to play the backhand down the line more frequently even in high-speed rallies.
alcaraz is younger, but sinner started to play tennis very late (at 13, if i am not wrong), and what's more that phenotype of body develops lately (u can easily see then sinner looks a teenager ..he needs to grow also phisically)...so all in all, they are in the identical "path"
The next-gen leaps frog one gen: it is now Yannik vs Alcaraz ! The torch is being passed from Novax to Yannik , one can see quite obiously, Yannik won in their last 4 encounters, namely Davis cup and Australian open !
The difference between them is anger, Alcaraz has it but Sinner doesn't. Alcaraz has to be careful in his management of his "anger", add a letter "d" to it, it becomes "danger" which I hope will not morph into the Novak kind of anger that ended up in smashing of rackets. Please Alcaraz, be like Sinner, cool, calm and composed.🙏
I don't agree at all. Alcaraz shows passion not anger. There's nothing wrong with showing emotion. That's what makes Alcaraz exciting. I love watching him play. If everyone were the same the world would be a boring place.
@@BOZ_11 I wouldn’t go so far as to say dumb. Djokovic and Nadal have played more often. But people who got interested in tennis due to the “Big 3” never really saw Federer at his best and can’t feel how Federer-Nadal set the terms for entire generation.
@@BOZ_11 I don’t disagree, but it depends what you are looking for. Alcaraz is an actor and a playchild. Don't think he can hold a high level over years. He has no length in his shots. weak era champ Djokovic dominated because of weak next-gen (Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Berettini, etc). now it's over because new era has just begun with Alcaraz as a leader and Sinner as 2nd. don't tell me why? because Djokovic will absolutely has no answer against them in the next major tournaments
But it's not like Roger where he capitalised only in the weak era. Novak won 12 in strongest era of tennis and 12 more in relatively weak era. That confirms he simply is a better complete greatest player ever. Got to give credit where it's due 😇
@@BOZ_11 🤔 how so? Roger got 13 slams in the weakest era and 3 more when Novak Andy and Stan the man were injured between 2017 18. That gives Roger 16 out of 20 weak slams. Had Novak been fine without his elbow injury in that period, he wouldn't have allowed Roger to get more than 17 slams.
