Okay so after Federer...I was despondent that no one could play with the inherent love of hitting the ball that he had. Thank goodness for Sinner. Federer set the bar at the highest level and when he retired I thought that would be the end of magical tennis. However Mr Sinner seems to have some of that Federer magic in his hands.
I don't think that there is a GOAT, but there are players that significantly impact the game in a special way, and Federer is one of those. Perhaps McEnroe and Sampras are two others. Now we have two, Sinner and Alcaraz.
