I'd be perfectly happy to dive into the details and explain everything that happens in a real law firm. Did you have to wait allot? What did your lawyer say about settlement offers? What do you have to say about the words: complaint, demand, answer, discovery, deposition, mediation, and the big scary word "litigation" aka court?
Long question , exactly one year from today a Flixbus cut us off in the highway and totaled our suv. It was me, my wife and 3 daughters(toddlers). The guy ran away, a witness chased him and took his plates and sent it in to the highway patrol. We were left on the highway while paramedics and officers arrived. Soon enough they got the guy, his insurance info and company info. The report from the CHP says how everything happened and obviously I was not at fault. I contacted an attorney, and he recommended chiropractor for me and my wife but would not take my daughter’s injuries(mild bruising and soreness)in his case. I’ve been through chiropractor, physical therapy, and 3 epidural injections, about the same for my wife. Is it standard for attorneys to exclude children?( he stated it would be too hard to prove their injuries) Also he doesn’t want to mention what amount we could roughly expect, and when asked the status of the case he says, we need all medical treatments first before anything happens. Is this normal?

Where did this happen ? All locations have different values. Also what happened ? Facts are important since liability plays a role in value. With good venue and strong liability (defendant at fault) and big insurance policy limits I would say total shoulder reconstruct w mental anguish is worth seven figures meaning millions as it is very serious !! How much you think a settlement for bulg disk plus relief shot and wait for a year ?
Bulging disc with an epidural steroid injections can be worth from 20-100k. With a discectomy such as percutaneous (perc) or micro probably from 100-500k. But that’s assuming there is enough insurance coverage !! Hope this helps

Hamdan God is good yes we have had cases with them before.
The amount of investigation this guy is implying is insane. "We'll go to the site" 1-2 people need to drive out to the location of the accident... Ok let's get some below college paralegals to go out and take pictures. Most below college paralegals make about $16/hour maybe $17+ if they're lucky. And this is the big mindf0ck they could be just using someone who has a camera.
This is just blatant lies. Actual court cases run on 97% facts and maybe 2% skill from your lawyer. (My opinion as a personal injury lawyer's paralegal)
Unless this guy has a massive ring of underage bike boys/girls running around with cameras that they daily turn in to the boss who has a team of people to look through it all and send the important bits to him... What this guy is, is this: a lawyer/attorney who thinks he has figured out a way to win if one of his suits even gets to court.
All trial lawyers investigate their cases fully. I think you are talking about being a paralegal handling a volume practice aka a mill. I’m discussing handling a few catastrophic injury cases where I know my clients very well and do deep dives.
