Beautiful! I’ve started naming my brain dump pages something new each month. November was the Leaf Pile. December is the Snow Drift. Might use that for January too!
your videos inspired me to start my own journal and i especially like the spending/cash flow tracker since I also need to start holding myself accountable in my spending. Your blog and this channel have been invauable in setting up my first journal
I ran into your channel as i was flipping thru UTube wow just love your layout been thinking of doing this but was having problems starting. You have given me so many ideas and I love the washi and papers you use, thank you for sharing.❤
Ohhh I just looovvee this set-up!! Never stop creating because you will always inspire someone! ( like me ) 💗i just posted my January set-up and i did a mountain theme…. Your theme is perfect for the new year! I love the finished look! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎊 I love the washi tape you used!❤
This is stunning Erin!! Sooo pretty!! Your flourishes are amazing, very impressed! How is the journal working out?! I'm releasing new designs next week! Eeeek!!
Thanks Bella! Probably 20 minutes to get the pencil down, and around two and a half hours to set up with the camera rolling - so just under three hours! Washi tape is great like that 😉
Lovely pages! I hope you have a wonderful and memorable trip to Europe! Question: What is the purpose of the pink Dutch doors in the weekly spreads? Are they to cover up the task lists for privacy? Just to be extra pretty? I’m confused!
They are purely decorative Wendy! Largely just to try something new, since I can be a bit repetitive with my weekly spreads. I can comfortably fit 6 months in a journal with my usual set ups, so I knew I could be a bit frivolous with those pages - I probably wouldn’t do this for a month where I really needed space for all the weeks!
It’s called different things in different places - in Australia it’s a craft knife, I think it’s a Stanley knife in the US? Stationery Pal sell one, there’s a link in the description! 😘

absolutely in awe of you free-hand cutting straight lines with the X-acto knife
