My favourite Audi vehicle of all time. The S5/RS 5 sportbacks just have a certain styling that I love. I love sportback designs, but I think Audi nailed it with this car. And that 2.9L V6 pulls extremely hard. I've actually seen a fair amount of S5's and RS 5's out on the road. More so than other S and RS products from Audi.
Totally agree with the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the RS5, especially with the Dynamic package. Initially I did not like the RS mode default virtual cockpit layout… but now I like it as a reminder as to which car I am driving. That is how different the comfort and RS modes are from each other. It’s a beauty… and a beast.
Nice review. I have a 2022 RS5 in the UK and love it. My previous car was a RS6, and to be fair the RS5 is nothing like it. But the RS5 has a good mixture of economy and performance. My only gripe is that there are a few rattles here and there, something I never had on my RS6, even after 130,000 miles of driving from new. Mark.
@@aubery83 not too much difference between the two, just exterior styling changes, bigger screens inside, and just an overall improved package. I didn't get an RS7 because 1) they are too big for my needs (the RS5 is even a bit big for what I need) 2) the RS7 costs significantly more money.
@@chrisburry8147 that's how I feel about the bmw m550i xdrive thinking about upgrading to a m5 competition.. I'll get bang for my buck but idk right pretty much same car just paying for engine.
Things that upset me about post 2019 RS5 models. They removed the Audi Quattro logo on the front diffuser and they put an RPM limiter that doesn’t let you rev the engine. However, lights looks a lot better though and the Audi exclusive interior is really nice.
@@michaels2470 the rev limiter does suck, but almost all cars are going in this direction unfortunately. Even Porsche has them...I mean come on Porsche? As for the Quattro logo on the front bumper, I don't mind because where I live we have to run a front license plate and it blocks part of the lettering.
great review...I agree that it's a jekyll/hyde personality between normal and dynamic. It's a terrific super-comfortable daily driver that can "unleash the beast" when you want that hardcore performance experience. I'm not sure it quite rises to the level of a "supercar" as its weight definitely imposes some physics limitations when really pushing it, but it is definitely a helluva lot of fun for something with 4 doors and a hatchback (if perhaps a little overpriced). And while Audi's reputation isn't industry-leading in the reliability department, I can at least say that I haven't any issues with my RS5 in the 3 years that I've had it so I guess take that for whatever it is worth.
Outside of the R8, the S5/RS5 Sportbacks are the best looking Audi cars. Looks better than the 7 to be honest, which is too long IMO. The S5/RS5 Sportback is the perfect length for a sports sedan. I hope for the next generation though, the RS5 gets a vented hood. And I wish they would switch the exhausts around, the S cars get the dual and the RS cars get the quad.
I don't think it's a supercar. My GT-R is a Supercar. I do have a RS5 Sportback as well, so feel qualified to say it. The RS5 is a fantastic everyday driver. The Sport back makes it a lot more usable. I'm actually considering selling my pick-up truck.
In my opinion it's lacking for it's worth .. A fifth original rim and tire for a spare would be nice. Also certain components on dashboard could be upgraded like a push button for the head lights instead of trun knob.

Title on video says 2023 but when you showed the specs and option costs on the sticker in bold it said 2022 RS5 @ 8:52

I really love this All-new Audi RS5 sportback.
Terrific job with your content as always Ben.
All new?

Hello
I am after buying rs5 2021
What's the economy and the running costs like, services etc.
Thanks
Great review! I'm on my second RS5 Sportback (a 2019 and now a 2022). Absolutely fantastic car all around.
Whats the difference between the two that you notice and why didn't you just upgrade to the rs7 instead????

This comment is of a level of quality I haven’t seen in a longtime on RUclips. Thank you. Spot on.
Absolutely agree with you!
Love that color omg 😲
Are you sure this is a 2023 model that you're reviewing?
I want this car but I'm really hoping they update the interior like the RS3 that's then only thing they need
S5 and RS5 and incredible cars, I something feel sorry for those having a Merc and BMW

Would it be big enough if you’re 6-3 tall 200lbs
O Jesus ...Germany knows how to do good things.
Is it blue?or white?
Blue
Its kinda like Sazuka Grey. It looks white but is grey

Nice Car but Not Worth $95000+ Tax in Canada
should I get this or the Stinger? which is faster?
The rs5 is definitely faster than the stinger.
Rs5 would make the stinger look like it's sitting still lol, stingers are cool but rs5 in another league
ruclips.net/video/AT2jI6e96-E/видео.html
never compare a stinger to an RS5.

Great car. Not worth 100k.
I agree, more like 75k.
Not a 2023
Am I the only one who sees this white???
No I do to
Looks white as paper to me
What a silly title
