Feels like I'm watching a game that recently --> Banishers looks so so similar that game was also short like apparently this one...
Banishers is actually a very substantial game, over 20 hours just for the required stuff, triple that if you do the side content. It's also a fantastic game altogether
The voice actor of Baz sounds a lot like the actor who voiced Denton in Deus Ex.
Is this the same voice actress who was in the Incredibles (or whatever that game was named) which was based off an old space book? Her character was named Yasma (or something close) and she was stuck on a planet.
Sooo it wasn’t a bad game per se, it just needed more organization to it. Like the ending, I felt they could’ve added more ya know? Also, I hate to say it, but I think there needs to be part two. I kinda want to see what Enki does to repay Nor for giving up her “life” for their friendship. Cus to be honest, chose her over his own love. His own freedom.

actually nah the game is really short if you are just doing the main quest and the routes are also pretty straightforward
is the framerate choppy, or is that something on my end? Looks 30fps and below.

@@victoriaphychedelic3698 I've never played the game and only watched a little bit of this LP. From marketing materials apparently it's about killing gods which is not very unique because that's all you do in Elden Ring. So, one more time: what's unique about it?
@ChocolatePope dude if you think it being about gods, it strips it of everything else, you have a poor understanding of themes and story devices. There is games about gods, there is games about magic, there is games about guns, there is even games set in similar inspired time peices. The only game I can think if that is similar to this one is (I can't remember the title) where you are an explorer/settler of the "new" world and come across a magical environment, which apparently your player character and their mother were abducted from and raised in a house of near royalty only to find out they could aborbe the power of the god of the island (that or you let your buddy do it) and the other closest one would be order 1888 (which I didn't like) this game even tho short has an indepth built world and cultural systems, but also gives a unique game feel of being able to use the powers of Enki with guns, Enki also isn't like most 2ndary characters, he has depth and growth more akin to Mimir in GOW than more annoying sassy sidekicks you get in most games, and the story reaches a full filling conclusion, where both characters grow and sets up nicely for the developers to do a sequel. I'd love to find out more about the hosts and why they exist and more about what the hiarchy of the gods is like, will the player character become a new god in Enki's realm, how would that work

I looked up online to see how long this game is and it says its five to ten hours
I just reached the 2nd map which is about half way through the game and I'm at 13hrs
