Ordered my deluxe version paired with a PRS Archon 50 Amp yesterday. Can’t wait. next is to build a sweet pedal board with a few UA pedals. It’s gonna be an epic sounding rig.
D'Angelico- this is a better Grateful Dead sounding guitar over custom models I see people pay HUGE money for. PLEASE I beg you do this same thing with Trey. We all need it! Great job!!
I got mine last month… it’s a tad on the heavier side but not bad at all. It’s my new favorite, really an amazing guitar, WAY beyond my ability. But I’ll get there.
I have the Deluxe and it is awesome. Thanks for the great Demo. I play mine mostly clean. Blend knob is supposed to blend in odd man pickup slowly but I don't notice it doing that. Sounds like it just adds it in immediately. Maybe it's me. Still sounds beautiful. Anyone else notice the same.
It's probably a function of the taper of the blend control potentiometer. It's wired "backwards' in the sense that it does something when it's turned down. If it's an audio taper pot, the taper is reversed to the sensitivity of the ear if it is wired to provide more signal when it's turned down.

Think about this though- when fender sells you an American Pro strat for 1600 and it comes with a 130 dollar hard case- they factored that in. You bought a 1470 dollar guitar. This you buy a 1000 dollar guitar- that what you're getting. They could sell you a hard case and the guitar for 1150. Same same
Bought one for my sister was her Christmas gift, but was saddened by malfunctions due to poor building couldn’t get replace by company. Wouldn’t recommend.

They are actually humbucking P90s thanks to a 'dummy' coil that allows for noise cancellation on the default setting. When you coil split via the push/pull knobs, you remove the dummy coil effectively getting your authentic P90s sound. Great to have both options.
I've been wanting this guitar for a long time, but it definitely sounds as if it goes out of tune alot. Towards the middle of the video he's definitely a bit out of tune.

I think the chrome hardware is better looking and more suited to the color of the guitar

I find it very difficult to hear the guitar tone as all I hear is reverb!
