That's a surprisingly useful unit of time! It makes stuff like age of Earth, life and multicellular life quite intuitive to compare.
Also, 0.36° during the lifetime of humanity, that's pretty crazy to think about.

Winner of a video, I've been looking for "cosmic energy calendar 2017" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Okay, I know there are only so many names out there and that's why we don't give everything we find in space a proper name, but you'd think that the freaking black hole that is the core of our galaxy would be important enough to get a real name ._.

You can simulate continents moving by decreasing or increasing silicate.
With regards to orbiting Sagittarius A what is it that makes galaxy's spiral? Is it just this uneven distribution of mass that take an incredible amount of time as you point out with our suns procession? Or is something else going on? (Does he have a video on this already?)
Can we come up with another name for the Andromeda/Milky Way merger, other than 'Milkdromeda'?

It's just a it's just a simple particle effect - a collection of couple hundred transparent bitmaps.
No star in this, besides the sun which he added manually - is actually an object, nor does it have any calculation done to them.

Actually, he didn't come up with that name. It's just the default name people use for the mixed Galaxy between the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way Galaxy.

You confused white dwarfs with neutron stars.... A neutron star has a diameter of around 11km. A white dwarf is considerably larger perhaps earth sized. An A for effort but perhaps a bit more work on concepts. The Permian extinction which you refer to is believed to have been caused by a large Basaltic/Magma flood that probably happened in the land of your surname perhaps... Siberian Traps.
Mercury Is: 88 Days from the sun And venus is: 98 years (I think) From the sun Earth Is well You Know 1 year (No Duh) Mars is: 1.88 Years From the sun Jupiter is: 11.3 (and again I think) years from the sun And I forgot How far away saturn uranus neptune are.
+Cat Cookie what do you mean by "years from the sun"? light years? how many years it takes to get there? how long its year is? and, as I read this, Venus is not 98 years from the sun unless you went incredibly slow. And a year on Venus is not 98 Earth years, it is 225 Earth days. However, you did get Mercuries year right, but still, it is not 88 days from the sun, it takes 88 days to make an orbit. Mars is not necessarily 1.88 days from the sun, but it takes 1.88 Earth years to go around it. Jupiter takes 11.86 Earth years to orbit, Saturn takes 29.7 Earth years, Uranus takes 84.3, and Neptune takes 164.79. However getting to and from the sun, as in the time it takes to do so, is relative, as in, how long does it take to get from the sun to Earth going at 99 meters per second, or 99 miles per second, etc. not just "Earth is 1 year from the sun" yeah, if you are going about 3 miles per second, if you are going light speed, you can get there in 8.4 minutes. False, A galactic year is how a galaxy spins.
A solar year is how a solar system orbits a galaxy.
So the human race is only 9 galactic hours old 0_o
