    1 I use a leaf blower for
    *Grilles
    * Lug Holes
    * Mirrors
    * Headlights, Tail Lights
    The tight spots.
    Awesome method, I’m sure the one bucket diminishes a lot of love-marking its worth a try.
    Good work Danny, good luck man!
    For a completely trashed Midsize SUV like a forester I’d probably charge $300.
    Sand, Pet Hair, Body Stank.
    Good work Man! I’m looking forward to trying that method.

      @@dannys.auto.detailing_ yea I completely agree the aerosol does seem to last longer and look wetter…I use that on my higher end customers who pay premium prices. Just doing a lot of details with it can add up after the end of the month rather then using liquid tire shine with an applicator which I buy in 5 gallon jugs. Your doing a great job though and I like your page a lot. Been detailing PT/ FT for over 10 years. Great video! One thing I would change is either foaming up the car before you start your contact wash or keep mitts in bucket with soapy water - reason is I noticed as you kept them on the hood, they became less soapy and most of the panels looked too dry and lacked lubrication, so obviously this increased chances of micro scratches and marring. Give it a try

    • @dannys.auto.detailing_
      @dannys.auto.detailing_  Год назад +1

      Thank you Anthony, and great points. I do need to foam down the car. I think about that all the time. And since I’m not using a pressure washer, I don’t really have a foam cannon. But I do have IK prayers. I will definitely give it a try.

    Last tip....IF can help you....
    If you have close to you your vac, when you apply aerosol tire shine, you can have in the other hand very close the vaccum nozzle to suck the over spray at the second you apply it on the air ( i hope my English don't confuse you)
    Also time saver is the aftermarket Ridgit vac nozzle ( i dont know if has this name on Amazon.... is the one witch has an LED light and a button to light it)

    I use one side of the mitt per panel and the rinse thoroughly with the hose to get rid the dirt, dunk in the bucket with soap and repeat.
    For the blower ,if the car is already protected i use a big leaf blower ( not funcy expensive detailing blowers...(worx leaf blower is a beast) it dries the cars is seconds ....may save you some time keep up

    • @dannys.auto.detailing_
      @dannys.auto.detailing_  2 года назад +1

    • @R900DZ
      @R900DZ 2 года назад +1

      @@dannys.auto.detailing_ exactly, the pre blow is very quick like literally a minute, just quickly knock off the bulk so that like you say, the drying towel doesn’t get super saturated. Your goal is not to dry completely with the pre blow, just makes the towel dry easier.

    I see you use the water from your clients homes. That’s really cool that they allow you to do so but I jst want to add something dor you to think about. If you continue to do this for a living, you should really invest in a water tank. Not only to make your job easier because of the no minerals. But you would be saving hundreds of gallons of water. A pressure washer uses 50 to 70% less water than a water hose. And in these crazy times with the water shortages and drought , it would really benefit you and the environment 🤙🏽

      Thanks so much. It’s a tough business but it’s rewarding. I think the most important thing to be is out there detailing somewhere. In the eye of the public. But also having a Google business profile and feeding it with pictures every day. Ask all your customers for reviews and if they don’t post ask you one more time. Only knows what works for me is Google business profile adding photos, and optimizing my website for SEO. But I’m dropping a video tomorrow on getting customers in the winter time. Maybe that will help you

    • @dannys.auto.detailing_
      @dannys.auto.detailing_  2 года назад

      It’s the one call Sonax spray and seal. Just spray it on the wet car and then spray it off and it leaves a really good quality coding with lots of hydrophobic properties. And then just drive the car as normal.

    I definitely would’ve denied a burningman car as well lol. Where did you get the organizer for your bucket?

      I know. I definitely do not want to do burning man rides. I got the bucket caddy on Amazon. Here’s the link if you want it.
