Barry Ferguson outshone his brother, Derek, as he inspired Rangers to a two-nil win against Dunfermline at East End Park. Jonatan Johansson opened the scoring after a slide-rule pass from Jorg Albertz before Barry Ferguson sealed the win in the second half with a powerful shot from the edge of the box. Lionel Charbonnier left the field to the sound of La Marseillaise after producing a stunning save from a Craig Ireland header.

Derek was 8yr past his prime.. and he still nearly got an assist .. Barry had top class players around him.. Derek never ..that save plus guttuso handball.. and Derek's shot blocked was going in Derek at 20 was class .. fast skillful this was him riddled with Injuries
