    I Find ...
    If you run your hard boiled eggs under cool water while peeling, they will peel quicker & cleaner.

    Any egg is easy to peel if you add at least 1/4 of a cup of salt to your boiling water. This really works.

      @@sundayschwein6162 wow 1/4 cup,is allot,you boiling eggs for the Army? Now a days with everything so expensive,that is using to much SALT. Boiling for 13 minutes,rinsing with cold water,give the sauce pan a little shake,gently will give you a little start at the peeling.☮️🇺🇸

      Yeah and leaving them sit in that hot water is just cooking them longer so you should adjust your time accordingly if you’re gonna let them sit there and soak

      The Best way to get easy to peel eggs is to STEAM THEM above the water for about 13 minutes and then immediately cool in an ice bath.

    Don't forget the ground paprika. I add some to the mixture and sprinkle some on top of the prepared eggs which looks really super.

    I remember my Mom making deviled eggs back in the early 60's. She used pickle juice, but she used Sweet Gherkins. I have made them with the sweet pickle juice ever since I learned that trick. Love the slight sweetness the Sweet Gherkins juice bring to the deviled eggs!

    My secret ingredient is sugar 1 tablespoon of white sugar and cream cheese. Oh my gosh people just love them. Yes I put the rest stuff into the mayonnaise the mustard, the pickle juice, salt, and pepper paprika. It all goes in there. Mine is cream cheese juice.

    Sounds good, I use dill relish (never tried with vinegar, but should be close to the same) and if the eggs are going to be for the next day I add just a little bit of celery seed makes a big difference in taste.

    I always crack the shell all over the egg. Makes for easier peeling.

    No, older eggs are harder to peel. Chunks of egg come off with egg shell.

    I made 50 deviled eggs for a big party. Mayo ... mustard...sweet pickle relish...Mrs Dash Cajun seasoning. Big hit!!

      LOL... YEP, I MADE TOO MANY TO COUNT, FOR THE VETERANS , YRS AGO. HAD TO GET INVENTiVE ON FLAVORS, etc. ADDED "FiNE CHOPPED" CELERY,ONiON POWDER, GREEN ONiON, SALSA, SOME WITH SWEET RELiSH, HORSERADiSH, BLACK OLiVES, GREEN OLiVES + JUST REGULAR.. SOO FUN.

    They taste better if you ditch the pickle juice and use Dijon mustard instead of plain mustard,

      I personally do not like Dijon mustard, so I prefer the pickle juice. I guess it's a matter of personal, preferential taste. 😉👍

    Well I’ve always used sweet pickle relish in my deviled eggs yolk mixture. But if you take the white egg part, and roll them in planko breadcrumbs and deep fry that part before adding the yolk mixture. Deep fried deviled eggs are the schizen!

    Only boil for one minute and take off the heat and cover for 17 min. Then put in an ice bath for several minutes and the eggs come out perfectly, tender and cooked to perfection!

      It came with refrigerator for ice. Then someone gave me egg cartons that had clear trays in it. Works great. Thanks for the comment

      Some people put a little bit of relish in the filling mix so relish or pickle juice, same coat, different plaid :)

    It's nearly impossible to easily peel a fresh boiled egg!! So why try? Get out eggs that have been in the frig a couple weeks.They are ten times easier to peel.

      10 or 12 minutes cooking time who cares. It’s 2 minutes difference. It’s her recipe and it’s your kitchen to cook eggs as you like.

      Reg mustard we use, but that is your choice. Same with pickle juice, we use sweet.

      Sometimes I do. My eggs were very easy to peel. They were fresh from my chickens

    Ok, didn't need to hear about the poor dear. I understand the need to allow the dear to be a Mother in her condition and its is nature. I hope someone humanely helped that animal at some point.       Yes they are. Here is an update.
      My prayers were answered. I am able to get chemo and radiation, NO SURGERY. If I got surgery there was a 25% + chance they would damage my sphincter muscle and I would have to wear a bag the rest of my life. God is great.
      So now I am waiting for the oncologist to send an order to my surgeon (and friend) for a port to be put in for the chemo. He is on vacation this week, so hopefully next week he can put a port in. And treatment to start in like 10 days

      I try not to ever use fresh eggs, if I don’t have to. I use eggs that are at least, a week old. I always crack both ends and they peel perfectly. Those looked delicious. Now I’m going to go make me some. 😂

    I made an effort to study salt n its origins. Results are that all salts regardless where they come from or color they are the same. Sodium!!!! So stop spending extra$$ on exotic salts!!

I DiD, & I GREW UP ON THAT ICKY TOXiC SALT, HOWEVER, MY DAD WAS ON A NO SALT DiET....SOOOO WE DiDN'T HAVE SALT IN ANYTHiNG, MOSTLY ! : } LUCKY US, POOR FOLKS.
