Agreed with everyone else on here, that Prisoner is one of the best metal tracks to come out in a very long time, and should've been chosen to do a vid on. Ankor is an independent band that deserves the extra recognition for their work. Really unfortunate to see Nath so deadset on not doing a vid for it.
If it's older they just never will check it out. It really is dumb and makes no sense though but is what it is. Every time I see reactors checking out big older songs for the first time they get just massive massive views, really think the boys need some help in this area if they are going to grow. Current format shilling out has taken some serious enjoyment out of the channel lately.

This is currently my favorite song of 2023. It brought emotions out of me that I really didn’t expect at all. I also didn’t really know the storyline going into this music video but the video touched me so deeply. I just love how they tackle depression and family in this song/video. I’m sorry it didn’t blow you away, it certainly did for me. I think you guys would like prisoner more! Although I personally prefer this one

You don’t know what yo😢u’re missing guys! You really should check out Jessie’s vocal range in Prisoner, and it’s all HER voice. Live she is brilliant, as is the whole band. Your loss! And yes….a bit too much banter at the beginning of your reaction session.
I haven’t heard too much from these guys yet, but of the 2 singles that have been released from the trilogy, this one seemed to be like a dynamic build to its conclusion. Part 2 was built more like a traditional song. Definitely recommend listening to Prisoner if even on your guys own time. I love both tracks. Part 3 took some time to grow on me but now it’s one that I easily listen to on repeat. Great reaction and banter as always, guys!
Johnny saying "it was good, i need to listen to more to see about the band overall because it didn't blow me away" I LOVE because, I haven't listened to this band so it is very hard for me to love a song unless it completely blows me away. i am not used to this band BUT i could very well go back find a perfect gateway song and LOVE the band, and then come back to this and then love this song. i remember i did the same with Architects where i wasn't blown away and then when i found Royal Beggars and i was hooked, circled back and then started to love the songs i wasn't blown away by originally.
music is awesome, sometimes you just have to keep giving things second listens and then it connects with you a differently another time. I pretty much agreed with both wholeheartedly about this song
This video hit me hard. The emotion and story told brings me to tears as I can relate. LOVE the song as well

This was the heaviest pop song I have ever heard... but Prisoner is real banger, bit different, more metalcore-ish with poppy chorus but still heavy! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
Prisoner would have been a better starting point. That said, I do really like this song.

I must say, i didn't like Oblivion as much as Prisoner, Oblivion was just too pop for me with just hinting here and there that they're metal
Prisoner is what I'm hoping to see more of from the band for sure, i haven't heard such energy from a song in a while, that perfect mix between Powermetal and Metalcore is so goddamn good.
Hope you guys atleast listen to that song, we don't always need a video for every single that comes out

You should have listened to "Prisoner" before this, this song is good but Prisoner is much much better,that blows you away.... this song is good but in some parts heaviness should have been avoided
This feels like early (like, pre-Run) Future Palace vocals meets the heavier instrumentals of last album.
And I think what works for me with that band (I love those guys) is they match the instrumental so well with the vocals.
That's probably another reason I love Imminence. I find they match their instrumentals very well with the vocal delivery.
Couple that with what Johnny mentioned about the layering and mixing, and it's just not a mix I'm a big fan of.
I also see them around a bunch, and for female fronted bands, I'm far more into recent Dreambound offerings like Ghostseeker and Dream State.

Nath, I hate the term "popped off" too! It's because when I was a kid my dad would say it instead of saying "fart".. so a fart was a "pop off". So now I just think of farting when I hear it 😅
As awesome as this song is, Prisoner is 10x better. You really should give it a listen, it will blow you away. You said it yourselves, people were requesting Prisoner much more than this one. There's a reason for that.

This is the first vid I saw and I was an instant fan. IMO Her vocals are amazing. I pretty much got the who theme to this vid, I am surprised not many people got it. They released these in reverse order I have see 3 so far and I am waiting for Ch 1.
