Here is a tip from an 85 yr old fan…as we age we lose hair from all over our bodies, yes there too….but I hate the loss of my brows but I found an easy way when I’m in a hurry..spray an angle brush with setting spray and dip into a shadow that closely matches the color you usually use. Voila!!! Instant brows! And thank you so much for the time you take to bring us fantastic videos…I’m on FB so if you want to se what I look like, thanks to you..go there. Btw, I have never had any cosmetic procedures..it’s just the joy of the Lord.
To prevent your concealer from moving around: Tap or smear a tiny bit of glitter glue under the eye, then apply your concealer. Set with powder. Your concealer will not budge! I have a birthmark under my eye that I cover up, so this really works.
I have combination skin. Some tricks I’ve learned, use and love are... 1. For combination/oily skin is to use loose powder before foundation to help reduce shine for longevity 2. Spray setting spray on your foundation brush with foundation to help foundation last longer 3. I don’t have a matte primer so what I do is use my matte setting spray then use loose powder. Hope this helps 💚💚💚
Another tip from Wayne Goss that I love: use the tiny interdental brushes to brush out clumps after applying mascara. I’m using the Walmart brand and they work great!
@@crystalgilbert3558 yeah, i like that i Have control so i don't get gel or soap on my forehead to eff up my foundation. You can also wet it with setting spray and rub into eyeshadow to get specific colored brows. The brush is so tiny it fakes hairs. Holy grail!
BTW, I LOVE the under eye concealer tip! It truly helps eliminate the appearance of texture, creasing, dry, etc. under eye look. Perfect for mature/maturing skin.
This has truly helped my under eye area, in a great way. In my opinion, the difference it makes is significant. Not to mention, it wears smoothly all day long, when using this technique. Also, if you do start to crease, look dry or cakey, the tip regarding the setting spray and a small brush works, too.
That tip for the glasses to avoid those skin marks sounds perfect, hopefully it will help make that area feel less irritated and keep the glasses from slipping.
For older women who are getting fine lines around their mouths causing lipstick bleed: after applying foundation and before lipstick, apply a small amount of non-oily primer on the lines - no the lips. Don’t rub just pat it on. I’m up their in years and it works wonders for me.
My makeup tip: Tightline the upper waterline before putting on eyeshadow. I cannot tightline without blinking and every single time I get eyeliner strokes on the lid and ruin the eyeshadow - therefore I started doing it as the first thing. Then I could just wipe it away 🙂
You're such a beautiful person, inside and out. That's why it's such a joy to watch your content.I hope you know how much we all appreciate what you do.

ALL the setting spray tips are genius. Thank you, thank you. I love especially to spray a brush and apply it, and to dip the finger in blush and spray the finger with setting product.
Great tips! 🥰 My tip: I have started using, brace yourself, cornstarch mixed in with my Laura Mercier powder 🤭😊 It becomes less cakey, longer lasting and so much smoother. It is so finely milled, that it sorta works like a translucent powder would. I add just a pinch into the powder, mix well and apply. I know it sounds weird, but it really does make a great difference. At least it does on me. Try it 😊 Happy holidays everybody! 😊🌲🥰❄😘☃️💕🌞
@@tammyg2631 Yup me too 😊 It really is good. I hope others try it too. Its nice learning from each other. I've picked up some great tips from the comments section of this video.
My tip: if you have a really oily t-zone and eyelids, use nyx pigment primer before applying your foundation. A little goes a very long way. Other tip is to apply dark eyeshadow to your scalp (similar colour to your hair) to make your hair look fuller. 😊
I have been watching your videos for years and Drugstore December is as much a part of my Christmas countdown as advent calendars and Christmas shopping 😊 By the way, your hair looks absolutely amazing today! I always love your hair but today is 100% *chef's kiss* 😚
Out of all the channels I watch your tips are the ones I use the most because they actually work!! My favorite is the two dot concealer trick that gives a slight facelift effect. Just wanted to say Thank you!!!
I have a couple…. I like to use a silicone based primer under my eyes to reduce texture before concealer. I tried this tip this morning; turn your eyeliner pen on the side and stamp the eyeliner on the upper lid at the lash line. This is a great tip if you struggle with drawing a consistent, straight line that looks even. 🥰
Z!! I laughed so hard about the nipple situation 😂😂All the makeup tips I have learned from you from you!! I love the tip about applying setting spray to set your concealer. As usual fun and informative video. Love to you and your family💜💜💄💄💄
I have oily skin too and cream products don’t last very long on my skin if I don’t set them. Using face powder always muted or changed the color and I hated that. I started taking a similar shade of powder blush and/or bronzer and lightly dusting over the cream products to set them. My blush and bronzer lasts all day now.
Oh yes, Ive been doing that the past few years to make my cream blush last and it has worked great. For years I only used cream blush and after about 4 hours it would just disappear. I remember laughing with my Mom and sister when I asked them “ where does it go? “ 😂. I have normal to dry skin but it still just vanished like a magic trick. 🤷🏻♀️❤️
A tip I always do is when I’m swatching lipstick, I’ll use a lip balm to remove the swatches instead makeup remover wipes, it won’t hurt my lips that much. I usually use lip balm with a thicker formula such as Vaseline Lip Therapy for that (also a good way to use it up, it has a lot! lol).

Thank you for anther absolutely fabulous and informative, helpful and joyful video!! I’ve been patting in lotion once or twice a day right on the edge of my crows feet to rehydrate them and fresh my eyes look. I don’t rub the lotion in, I gently pat t it in after washing and lotioning my hands. Works great!
I am getting ready for the day watching this video when your comment about testing the best nude lip came up. Can't deny it was tempting to try option 1 vs pulling down the lip. So funny.
Also, a tip/trick that I use daily when applying makeup is to layer setting spray as you add products to your face, not just at the end, or at the beginning and end only. When I'm doing a "full face", I will use it after primer, after foundation, after concealer/setting powder/cream products/powder products/etc. The key is to LET IT DRY before you go on to the next step, so this can add a lot of time to your application, but if you NEED your makeup to stay, the extra time and effort is worth it every time.
Thank you for the tips! Definitely trying the one with setting spray and undereyes!! Trying to figure out how to carry a very small amount in my purse now, lol!
Love your tips! I use a clear mascara to keep my brows in place and then I put a coat on my eyelashes.Once it’s dry I apply regular mascara and get really thick long lashes without loads of heavy coats. Cover Girl clear mascara is the best one I’ve tried for this trick.
I love your channel and your videos! I tried using setting spray under my eyes inside of powder and that was a game changer. My under eyes didn't look cakey or dry by the end of the day. Thanks for this tip.
My mind just got blown with the setting spray on the undereyes tip - it's one of those "DUH, this should've been obvious!" things but here I am barely hearing of it now, and I absolutely need to try that because all powders look horrendous on my late-30s undereyes. The only thing is, I wonder if any excessing drying will occur over time since most effective setting sprays are loaded with alcohol. The tip for the perfect nude lip has an extra advantage that it'll minimize the telltale border between your actual inner lip and the lip product itself.
Have you tried using water instead of setting spray? I used to do that and it worked well. Just a damp sponge to apply the powder, and only use a little bit of powder. I every so often change up my makeup applications so I haven't done it for some time, but it really does make a difference, as opposed to if you applied the powder with a brush. Or maybe spray your sponge with refresher spray/face spray (not setting spray) because those often have a little glycerine in them (they don't have alcohol as they're not meant to set, but rather to refresh) and that will help combat dryness and caking. I have dry skin so I know how powders can work against the skin. Best of luck! 😊
@@ts4686, thanks for the tips regarding refreshing sprays instead of setting spray. Another one of those "obvious" things that I never thought about, lol. Thanks again! I'll be trying that next time my under eye area looks dry/cakey
I use the back of my hand to push my eyelashes in place after each coat of mascara. I have stick straight lashes so a curler is a must, but I have found that the back of my hand actually works much better without any damage to my lashes. (commented on Instagram too, but I felt like I needed to provide more information on this tip).
Hiya! I have thick lashes that resist curling so I came up with this: I curl my lashes once before starting my eye makeup, then lightly a second time before putting on mascara. It helps keep the curl all day. I am going to try your tip with my dry layer mascara.
@@ivechang6720 I do it while my mascara is still semi wet, my hand gets a bit messy but a quick rinse under the sink fixes it (probably isn't the best tip for waterproof mascara wearers). What I used to do was curl my lashes & after mascara I would use my blow dryer, on the cool setting, to dry them in place 🤣 I mean, it works really well but I found the back of the hand trick works just as good for me.
Great tips! Definitely going to try them out! I Use my finger to curl them after I put mascara on. I’ve heard numerous times that waterproof mascara helps hold the curl too. It’s just so difficult to get off so I haven’t tried it yet
When mixing your primers do you want to stick to the same formula ie: Silicone based vs water based to ensure the best result with the bb cream/foundation? I've tried a few of these and they are totally awesome.

Thank you for the tips! Zabrena can you tell me about your hair routine and products used on your hair for this video? I love your hair. Also, a drugstore nude color for me is SUPER MODEL by Revlon. I just thought I would share and it’s a long lasting matt color.
The tips are what I need and I also love your Bible verses plus your words of encourgement! You are gorgeous, I learn so much from your videos. I am 65 and trying to learn to apply makeup. Patty H
I’m going to try the under eye setting spray tip. I’m 23 and have under eye wrinkles That are just hereditary. no regular eye cream or retinal eye cream has ever made a difference. I also prefer a glowing under eye as opposed to a dry looking one.
When I would do too powdery too or matte, I would look older. But I've been using that ELF setting spray in the green bottle and despite being for a matte look, it seems to meld everything. Mind you maybe wearing a mask also melds everything lol.
One of my tips: I mix tiny dab of high coverage concealer (IT Bye Bye Undereyes)into my supergoop unseen sunscreen. Gives me coverage and I don’t have to bother with foundation.
That sounds great, until you learn that doing so diminishes the effectiveness of your sunscreen significantly. Learned from a dermatologist. You are better off waiting for the sunscreen to be fully absorbed, and then add your watered down concealer.
I used to do this until I heard it affects performance of sunscreen. You can safely LAYER but can't mix without compromising protection. So apply a layer of SPF then apply your custom mixed tinted moisturizer. I think it was Lab Muffin who explained the complexity of SPF formulating and how you never want to tamper with it.
My sister showed me to roll my mascara tube between my hands so the brush doesn't come out of the tube thick and gloppy. It really works and I do it all the time. I showed my daughter and she does it too.
Intrigued by the setting spray eye bit. I used to be a matte gal for years but just now wanting to switch it up. I had just saw where you can actually use more than one type of primer. I've been looking for that newer Maybelline 4 & 1 one but so far only seeing some darker shades available. Am however going to at least get a mini of the Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter. Funny that you worded it as your face looking "flat". That was exactly the way I felt recently when I looked in the mirror one day thus the reason for me switching things up.
Here is a tip from an 85 yr old fan…as we age we lose hair from all over our bodies, yes there too….but I hate the loss of my brows but I found an easy way when I’m in a hurry..spray an angle brush with setting spray and dip into a shadow that closely matches the color you usually use. My tip, apply eyeliner to the lower waterline before doing your foundation/concealer. That way you don’t leave a mark on your base when you pull down your lower lid.
Appreciate your "tips and tricks" videos! Some of these are fantastic!! Love your channel and hope you and your family have a very safe and happy Holiday season.
Loved that video! Really nice and unique concept!
Sunglass marks are the worst! Thanks for the tip!
You’re hair is beautiful!!
Yay! Drugstore December 🤗🤗
Great tips! Thank you so much for sharing them! I love your eye look today... please share what you used, or refer back to a vidoe where you showed the steps to end up with that look. Blessings...
Patty H
Your hair is so 80’s love it…❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I'm definitely going to try some of these! xx
Your hair 😱😱😱❤❤❤
They are otherwordly beatufiul!
I’m going to try the under eye setting spray tip. I’m 23 and have under eye wrinkles That are just hereditary. no regular eye cream or retinal eye cream has ever made a difference. I also prefer a glowing under eye as opposed to a dry looking one.
Add a drop of facial oil to a matt foundation to make it more dewy. Not in the bottle, mix on your hand or wherever.
I love your channel and Ive also got the little white deer from the Christimas Tree store so cute
So many great tips!!👏🏽👏🏽❤️
what fabulous idea tips Zabrena, thank u. love Alli x
Omg that hair! Love! ❤️
OMG your hair, gorgeous !
Love you! Hair looks great,!
When I would do too powdery too or matte, I would look older. But I've been using that ELF setting spray in the green bottle and despite being for a matte look, it seems to meld everything. Mind you maybe wearing a mask also melds everything lol.
Your hair is amazinggg
Holy Smokes!! I’m trying these tips today!!🥰
One of my tips: I mix tiny dab of high coverage concealer (IT Bye Bye Undereyes)into my supergoop unseen sunscreen. Gives me coverage and I don’t have to bother with foundation.
Oohh, this sounds great. Gotta try it, thank you!
Thank you, I'm trying this.
I love the glasses tip.
I will try out the powder to liquid blush tip!
Your hair is amazing!
I love your hair! You look like Merida from Brave :-)
Love the hair!!!
