Glad to hear because that is the one I bought for my UTV adventures.

Gaia is also great because you can pair it with TrailsOffroad and it allows you to upload the trail guides with waypoints straight into Gaia. Gaia does have a learning curve.
5:27 you can change your waypoint symbol in Gaia. When you edit the waypoint click the pin and it will give you options.

I found that out towards the end of last year. I love having the icons. Helps makes map creations more tailored.

I have used Gaia for 7 years now. Periodically, like today I check the difference to determine if OnX is worth a try. Everytime I decide Gaia is superior to OnX. I also like that Gaia is worldwide and that it has the Nat Geo trails illustrated maps.

I couldn't agree more. I still do comparison tests between the two now and again on the trail. It reminds me why I switched, and I am not disappointed by my decision. Gaia is great!

That's pretty worrisome if it loose what you built. What did onX say?

When I reached out, they had me endure it was up to date, which it was, and noted it as a bug.

OnX routinely locks me out of my profile on my IPad so….

It would do the same to me but out of my phone. Some people have a great experience with OnX and zero issues, and others have problems like this or other issues.

I use both, and paper maps! Cheap insurance. Onx showed me trails that Gaia did not, and vise versa!
