If you’re not able to understand the slight difference between the old home screen and the new home screen and how they translate to each other then I suggest you stay home. There’s literally no difference other than where your eyes are looking. Sometimes you just have to be able to think for yourself just a little bit.
What great info for us older folks 😀 Help me if you can. Went on a hike using the App it worked great but on our return back to our point of origin was a different story. I had not zoomed in for a clearer more shall I say detailed pic only to find out we were going in circles for awhile. I knew our direction of travel so getting back wasn’t the issue but if we had expanded our map out to show better detail it would have been better, might be something to touch on with newbies I hope this makes sense, thanks
Are there people who manage social media, customer education etc at Gaia? What is the point of having this video online today? I have gaia (got one year complimentary) looking for one good reason to renew after seeing it in its current state.

Not what I see on my phone app - The Icons you point out do not exist on my phone app or are diff. For example I have no locate Icon. Are you maybe using apple and there is a difference with android? Maybe updated version? Maybe a setting you didn't review? Maybe different layers show diff. Also weird that my direction indicator appears to always be at least 90 degrees off.

My Gaia location marker quit following me over 8 months ago. I'm an android user. Is whoever bought Gaia going to resolve this or just focus on iphone? I've tried Gaia app on the S22 Ultra plus the Pixel 7 Pro. Everything works, but the only way to get the Location marker to move is refresh the screen!!! It does not follow any more.
Well. the buttons you point to are not what I see. I would love to see distance along with elevation, speed, and compass. Or chose which three I see. Also, I have a ton of trails near me as in 2-3 miles but your discover is sending me 25-50 miles away.
I think they changed the look. Mine has a red dot inside a red circle that records when touched on the upper left side. What's yous look like when you open it and go to maps?

The 4 icons are gone and now there is a red dot inside a red circle, 2 metrics that i can choose from like speed and distance. Under thaT IS A COMPASS READING. What has happened? is mine an updated version or can i get it back to the look that's on the videos? Help
Not that helpful of a video. It needs to be updated to reflect the current version/iteration of Gaia gps. The screen shots shown above do not match those in the current app version.
How old is this video!? The description of the video says it's only a year old. Regardless, the video is not accurate, probably because the video hasn't been updated to match software updates. For example, in the first few minutes it became clear that what I see on the screen on my phone does not match what I see on the screen in the video. Very frustrating. I guess nobody at Gaia is paying attention to details or the video would get updated when the software is updated. That lack of attention to detail makes you wonder how good the data is that you're depending on to show you the way. You can do better, Gaia.
This video should be updated to match the app. Dangerous if someone watches this before an unfamiliar hike.

Search button question: only “some” hikes, parks and locations? That sounds like a potential limitation.

My map does not look like this. I do not have them icons across the top. It says these videos are one year old maybe that’s why.
The stats bar should be called the info bar
The locate icon should be shaped like the chevron in the map. That these two icons don’t match is silly.
