- I have always battled with cyano in my reef tanks, the Reef Case 12 gallon tank was no acception. I tried a bunch of things little by little to finally get the cyano under control and finally get back to the basics, which is why I feel that sometimes, keeping it simple is better!

Where did you get the tweezers?
I was having some dino issues a couple weeks back, new tank. So I adjusted my light from 10hr ( ok, maybe it was 12 hrs plus natural light hahaha) down to 8hr at 70% blue and things died off so quick!

Try chemi clean. You need to oxidize the organics in the system, then slow down on feeding every 3 or 4 days.
Stop running carbon in general , maintain nutrient levels by doing water changes. Specially if you don’t have a skimmer.
Setup a automatic water change with a dosing pump and your life will be a lot easier!
Small jvp wave maker super cheap in corner next to the over flow will help out alot. Cyano does not like flow was having same problem in my nuvo 15
