The cellist is using various any vibrato. There were a lot of sustained notes that were played by all of the players that could have been more expressive if they had used more vibrato. Everything else great, just wishing for more expression
@@kenneythekoala I concur and perform the piece as a cellist without vibrato. Even apart from historic accuracy, the pieces were written to be performed in churches whose acoustics expanded the sound.
My favorite concerto, my favorite composer, now my favorite string quartet performance ... WOW ! Wonderful performance ! Thank you so much !
A gorgeous rendition. Pleased that it works perfectly for string quartet. Would love to play it.
C'est le plus beau concert qu'il m'a été donné d'entendre.

As a string player, I give a big nod to your tempi, tasteful , beautiful playing, and your tight togetherness....
So Beautiful!
Great concert.
This is great I like the fact that they made this a quartet but I wish they had sped up on the Allegro 2nd mvmnt.
I agree
I totally agree. A bit too slow.
I wish they had sped up on the last mvt!
Sublime and flawlessly performed. Well done! I never tire of Corelli's Concertos, especially #8.
Sencillamente Fantastico!!!

Blake Harlson playing in a more baroque style, it was probably a stylistic choice for historical accuracy
