Man, what a car. I had it as a day-to-day beater at first, but ultimately, I just fell in love with it. Such a smooth ride, bulletproof engine and gearbox. Decently quick where you dont struggle to overtake anything on the highway. Also quite economical for a 3.5 with an old auto tranny. And, of course, the sound the engine makes and how it rocks when you bounce the limiter while stationary just adds to the character
lol man yours making sounds when you turn the wheel just like mine. These damn things use strut mounts left and right ,they are not one size fits both sides. Since I got a pair of monroe shocks mine is cracking like titanic when I turn the wheels lol ...awesome car man ,really good looking on the european streets. Its one of the few 4 door cars that look sporty and sleek.
You got one thing missing from the car the check engine light it is the minimum requirement for owning chryslers in this years range ,...I still have my 300m special...my mechanic tells me i should set up monthly rent with him
Literlaly American sofa on wheels with a V6 :D nice car, i was considering buying it but i just am not sure, because of the high fuel consumption (reason is the 4 speed automatic gearbox) + the parts and service, many of people here may not be able to service this car properly in case of an issue and the 2.7 litre v6 is not very reliable from what i had heard from people and the internet,3.5s are less common in EU. If i wanted an american car i think i would rather go for Cadillac Seville despite of the "legendary" northstar V8. But this one is really good too! Thanks for the video!
I got the 3.5 in Europe. 3.5's are really reliable (heck i changed the timing belt in my 99 a month ago....so yeah it lasted 22 years 251,000km LOL ). If you change the oil in time they last forever. Also transmission uses only mopar Atf+4 ...anything else it will trash it.2.7s are risky asf. Oh and parts are really cheap ..check rockauto . I pay about 30 dollars in shipping ,sparkplugs for these cars are 2 dollars a peace ...really cheap and exotic car in Europe.
@@Adrian-mq5ld Yes, i ve seen some just now as i was browsing autoscout and 3.5s are very relaible, but 2.7 that was also in Sebrings got pretty bad reputation for brakedowns (Americans call them Sludgemaster, because it formes oil sludges and blobs inside the engine, clogging it completelly). Nice. I know, they are awesome cars! Indeed. Thanks for the tip i was told that repairs might be a problem and i was bit concerned where i would get the parts from without paying too much for it, but now i think its not nearly bad as i thought. THank you for answer. I would love to have it but i decided for something else as my next car,BMW E39 with a straight 6 or a Volvo V70 gen 2 D5.
OOooo... :D widzę, że kolega też z okolic Wro (^^,). Ja właśnie swoje 300m do naprawy oddaje (postał trochę) i też będzie pod kątem rekreacyjnej jazdy delektowanie się w okolicach Żórawiny.
Nice video ! Does it shake when it downshifts ? I drove an 2003 range rover automatic and it shakes like crazy when it dowshifts i hate it. I like the 300m might consider buying one some day.
@@PresidentDrive nah bro its not an issue, its just that the gearbox operate that way, pretty disappointing for a range rover, i got a lot of women looking at me in the range rover tho 👀 but fuck it imma sell it, thanks for the answer bro

Also, it is extremely stable in winter, whether on the pavement or snow, just an added bonus for countries with real winters
I just bought an 02 with 74,000 miles. Pristine condition no check engine light. It's a real treat 😋
Congrats 🎉
Take good care of that beauty!
Ooooo Polska :) Oglądam a zaraz wsiąde do swojego 300M :) wdzięczny samochód :)
02 and 04 300M Special here
👌👍
I had one of these a long time ago. Very nice and fun car at the time but mine had a lot of issues mechanically. Don’t see many around now.
Кайфовый аппарат 👍👍👍

I am a big fan of American cars and here and in Croatia you can get this car from 1000 - 2000 euros since no one wants an American car.
Same in Poland . I plan to visit Croatia this summer as many our ppl :)

Thanks! I didnt observe any vibrations / shakes. Maybe it is some gearbox issue? Range Rovers are so complicated and hard to diagnostic :(

Słabe przyspieszenie wyszło, nie wciskałeś do oporu, czy właściciel jeździ spokojnie i dlatego skrzynia przyjęła tryb, żeby zmieniać wcześnie biegi?
That's not a 2005
This is 1998-2000

Jasne że tak, jak tylko będzie dostępne do testów :) pozdrowionka
