Seeing the gameplay you showed, it does give me heavy nostalgia for old arcade games like Pac-Man & Donkey Kong. Always admire when new/indie creators take inspirations from the 80s and 90s. Nice video.
Kinda wish some arcade nearby actually carried an exa arcadia so I could report on how much different it is from its home counterpart…besides maybe the 2p coop
As a huge fan of the early 1980s, arcade games such as Ms Pacman, Galaga, Centipede, Frogger, Donkey Kong Jr., and Burger Time, I absolutely love Donut Dodo. Not only does it pay homage to the games that inspired it, but it also makes a unique gameplay of its own and has a catchy soundtrack. Also, the game runs smoothly on a Windows 10 laptop, and it's only $5.00 on Steam. The game also has a sequel called Donut Dodo Do!, which is exclusive to the EXA-Arcadia arcade consoles. 🍩🦤
Yoo, excellent & thorough review! Dig the erudite but accessible analysis of the gameplay and comparisions to relevant classics. And great interview with the creator as well! 🍩✨
Hey thank you so much! I usually struggle to articulate my love for games like these without sounding repetitive. I will remember your kind words! Have a wonderful day and I hope you get to see my other reviews!
I saw someone play this game before. No idea who, maybe Mike Matei. Looks good, I'll probably buy it
It's on steam and switch for $5
Well worth the money!
