You should make a video on Ball watches someday. Recently rediscovered the brand and was surprised by their resonable pricing

They've been on my radar for a while - ever since I found out about their spring lock anti-shock system, but I just haven't had had the chance to have one in hand to really dive deep into the brand. Hopefully the opportunity comes soon :)

@@ShahLussoits a very interesting brand. Even their TMT pieces. I put them in the same tool watch category as Sinn

Thinking of buying the aquaracer, caliber 16 , its used which puts me off a bit because its one thousand pounds and i dont want to waste that money on buying the tag only to find out a year down the line it needs work on the automatic movement or something else just as bad.

Unfortunately servicing is something that rears its head one way or the other with mechanical movements - though admittedly the Calibre 16 is based on an ETA7750 or Sellita SW500, so as far as automatic chronographs go its one of the cheapest to run because of how many watchmakers know how to work on it and readily available replacement parts.
Best bet though to buy yourself some peace of mind is to buy it pre-owned with a warranty. More and more pre-owned dealers are offering warranties on watches, Chronext and Watchfinder both offer 2 year warranties, I bought my Breiting Chronomat a few years ago from a smallerindependent dealer that offered a 1 year warranty (bold considering it was a 30 year old watch), but you can find dealers out there that do it :)
