2020 Qled are fantastic. Even down to Q60T but even better is Q70T (120hz, qled processor and film makers mode). Screen is clean. It is bright with better blacks than 2019 models. Q80T and Q90T are of course one notch higher, but are really expensive. You can't go wrong with Q60T or Q70T if thats what your budget calls for or you are not a videophile. Don't listen to the detractors. Love the 2020 duel led. It really jazzes up the brightness and blacks which also influences the colors.
That's great to hear. I got the 43 inch q60t on the way as we speak. Got it for $450. Going to be going in the bedroom. I got an LG OLED CX in another room so this one will be a secondary set but still I want a high quality picture experience in the bedroom as well. I'm hoping this can provide that and be a really nice bedroom television.

I’ve got this tv in 58 inch and I watched Prometheus last night. I have to say I think the contrasting on it is amazing for a non OLED. Can’t fault it for the £1000 I paid last year.
I just bought one. The other greatest thing about this tv is the vibrant color and 8.8ms input lag with game mode ON and game motion plus turned OFF. Happy gaming!
About the brightness you like. If you search the box you will find well hidden a pair of sunglasses in the previous models, and now they have included also sunscreen :)

Is there a noticeable difference between q60t and q70t apart from the specs? I’m not a gamer - will I notice the hz (60 vs 120) difference in movies and sports and is the more powerful processor in q70t noticeably better for an average consumer? Will I gain any function of hdmi 2.1 other than the next gen console which I’m not intending to use.

If the best thing about the TV is the legs, I would say you’re damning it with faint praise... FWIW, I have a smaller Q60T and I think it’s average. Nothing distinctive about it. I use a wall hanger so I can’t enjoy the legs. BTW, if you keep your TV for, say, five years then the 10 minutes you save by not having to use a screwdriver for the legs is kind of a small advantage. I think that a dad (you are a dad aren’t you?) having two controllers is a big advantage. The couch usually eats one of them on any given day...

I have a question,i know buying tv's panel is lottery,but in that case i get bad panel with screen uniformity,will retailer take it under warranty? Or it depends on retailer? I live in europe,Lithuania,thanx in advance.
From my experience,most will exchange it,but some retailers could be a bit awkward about it,claiming it is normal.But if you think it doesn't look right then demand a refund or exchange,but just do it as soon as you can,as it will look better if you do it with a day or 2 of getting the TV.
just returned my nanocell for the q60t. Nanocell is pretty good except for the black levels. It was too distracting to watch movies at night with ips glowing. I'm happy with the new q60t, but consider that I'm more of a movie/netflix person than a gamer, when it comes to using the TV. Goodluck on buying your tv.

I have not tested the Q70T,but i never really have any issues with seeing our OLED in the daytime and my family are always watching daily TV on it with the curtains open.

I dont think an OLED would cope tbh as my bedroom tv is on for over 10 hours a day (used for ambient noise while working). Might consider it for when I upgrade the living room tv. I just bought this qled 55 version and I love it, the only thing is when the tv is cold on for a few minutes, known as in the grey pattern of youtube, or in the blue in the channels where there is no signal of the small horizontal lines (dse similar) as if if it then vanishes after a few minutes and looks great, should I worry?

Honestly, I'm in between the same choice as you. Now, I would say that the q60t would be a lot better for movie watching/streaming and what not and LG nano86 would be better if paired up with a new generation console as it supports 4K 120hz.

Dirty Screen Effect is the main reason why I am considering this instead of a Q80T, I just can't tolerate DSE, Especially on a high end price point, which you've shown is quite prevalent on the Q80T in your review, I even notice it a lot in the recording so you know DSE is bad if it comes through that much in recording.

@@marked4death076 Just because it costs more doesn't mean it is better tho. It is better in some things ya like refresh rate. However, the Q60T is significanlty better at grey uniformity (which is what causes DSE). Both rtings and techgiantpaul have the same observation that grey uniformity is better on the Q60T and that's what I care about most, I absolutely hate DSE. If the Q80T had grey uniformity that matched the Q60T I'd get it. But it doesn't.
The LG is more geared up to take full advantage of the next gen consoles but it needs to be out of game mode to look at it's best. The Samsung will work with the next gen models,but you won't get the full benefit.
All this talk about models for next gen.....well sorry to burst anyone's bubble but a £2500 pc graphics card can not ever run 4k 120hz so how can a £500 console......wake up people.....its all nonsense just get what you think is best for your pocket and if you don't like it just return it......iv bought the lg cx48 on Friday and returned it on Sunday totally not worth £1200.....just got the Samsung q60t and I'm returning that aswell....my suggestion would be to find something in-between....im going to try the sony xh850 or xh900 tomorrow

@@videonews8905 I would say don't bother my 55" has the stutter/judder on certain programmes and other issues. Others have mentioned the problem and also mentioned on AVforums. Samsung seem to be aware of this - we had two Samsung engineer's who blame it on the satellite and this has beeen going on for a year. Would NOT purchase Samsung again

300 dollar difference, at least today on cyber monday haha i had to pick between the TU for 900 or the Q60t for 1100, i went with the Q60t. But.....had i made a choice earlier in the day i would of went with the RU8000 75 inch earlier in the day before they sold out. It was comparable to the Q60r which everyone says is better then Q60t
