This is Shocking to me that you even know about this Psalter!! This is the one I used for two years as a Novice with the Trappist Monks before I converted over to Orthodoxy!! In fact Fr. John Eudes Bamberger spent 7 days and nights with us on a Retreat ...he wrote the Intro Note in the Philokalia on Evagrios. This psalter is a very good Spiritual Psalter designed to be chanted in Gregorian plainsong. Once again, you found another Psalter I have that I sometimes go back to. But not for long. I'm sure Fr. John would agree with me that it is a good psychological healing Psalter. But the power of the Psalms heal us in pretty much most of the formats out there, except for the heretic translations.
@@OrthodoxReview if you do, make some small simple prayer books for novices. Like St Ephraim prayer, Angelus Salutus, Lords prayer, Our Father, psalm 50-51, trisagion, creed, Michael's prayer, St Patricks, King Alfred's. Just some cool stuff man.
Hey OR, I have a question for you...an amazon reviewer stated that the Psalter is beautiful but has some psalms incomplete and out of order. Starting with psalm 58. And psalm 63 is missing altogether. Can you determine this...before I spring for one?

He got a misprint. Mine's perfectly fine.
@@OrthodoxReview appreciate your timely reply. I'm gonna get one. Looks like a beautiful book. Thanks
Oh good. Another book to covet. Thanks, OR.
Totally beautiful but the size of the tome is a bit too unwieldy for my taste!
