Very cool race! You can see the CVO jumps ahead a little bit at first, but just doesnt have the wicked top end of the Challenger! Its nice knowing you can have CVO power with just a tune
Ive been riding sport bikes since i was 16, and in the last 30 years ive seen at least 50 instances of newer riders getting too excited while racing and accidentally cover their rear brake because they didnt have proper foot placement. But, in the last 3 years of riding my Indian, never have i ever seen someone do it on a bagger! Lol good job Kev!
We are not 100% sure, Kev might have been excited and was resting.. but he isn't sure and I don't have video telling h me otherwise.. but if it was stuck it was not when I rode the bike.. they are close for sure!.. Thank you for watching 👀
I ride a 23 Challenger DH, and LOVE it, it's an amazing machine, and I believe the PP engine is a superior design. But, them Road Glides look fantastic
I personally love em both (I know there's this big "HD vs Indian" thing. But personally I think they're both awesome machines and the competition only serves all of us (the consumer) I highly doubt the HD baggers would have done what they did without Indian around.
Hey Ridingfish. The 2024 Elite has the Ciro bag lights on the back. I have the same bike and just purchased the same lights. Can you help me with any install tips/tricks/lessons learned on removal of the OG lights and installation of the new ones?
Hey fish, is there a tune for the 23 challengers out there yet? Dying to remove the speed limiter off mine, keep getting run down by pan americas and not happy lol!
Install a good two into one exhaust, a good cam, larger throttle body, bigger air filter, and a Power Vision fuel tuner. Then put the 121 HD on the dyno and this will a much different race. The HD 121 CVO is way too restricted by the EPA.
Well it looks to me that a Bone Stock CVO 121 beats the Bone Stock Challenger Elite...Now the Challenger Base has the Stage1 with a Aftermarket 2 into 1 pipe isnt Bone Stock...Now lets see what a CVO 121 with a Stage 1 upgrade and a 2 into 1 pipe does against the Challenger Base?

Kool video guys I like it a lot but you didn't really eat up the Cvo!! You did what Indian is known for, being faster with the fully liquid cooled engine! Everyone knows that fully liquid cooled engine creat more power usually!! Kings of the baggers racing actually shows thats witch why the rules allow More displacement for Harley Davidson engines but still Indian in most cases are faster just not always quicker out of turns and curves!
There is no comparison: The challenger is in a class by itself. If you want comparisons use the Scout, Chief, Chieftain, Roadmaster. When HD makes a liquid cooled cruiser then you can do a comparison.
Indian does a lot more with a lot less. Higher performing bike with smaller motor, smaller price. Gotta love it, dont even bring out then 112 for these CVOs. 😂😂😂
When you talk price comparison CVO vs Elite you should be using CVO in Whiskey Neat paintjob from HD, that would be more even comparison, and puts the Elite way out in front on pricing. Will be interesting when IM put out the 112cu in motors in 2025 models they will stomp all over the HD 121 further. Bring on the factory IM 112 Challenger vs factory HD 121 CVO ST head-to-head, now that will be interesting !!

Kevin better stick to sound offs & cruising the neighborhood. His set up is his, but going back to when the videos came out, if you're not riding for performance, you're just riding ... And going out to race anybody casual, drag strip, track, he's just not set up to do it. Get a different set of bags with no stereo chit in them & get a 2 into decent pipe & he might (keyword there is might be ready for some game. Otherwise, stay on the sidelines & be a spectator..... I'll keep watching......

All Indian models are way better engineered than any Harley model. In fact, Harley can thank Indian for pressuring Harley to make a better Harley in the last 10 years. Not better engineered than Indian motorcycles, just a better Harley-Davidson.

Wholly Indian fan boys lol... Only way the stock cvo loses to stock Indian is when The Harley hits there 112 speed limiter and will not go over 112 at all will hold it steady though. I Hope you know the cvo 121 bike is so new that tuners are not out except Se tuner which does not change rpm or speed limit and harley has a 112-speed limit which I hit fast. Next that air box is the worst I have ever got stock on a Harley shame on them I got 9hp and 7tq swapping to se air filter. I have khrome werks slip-on's SE air filter and se tuner till someone has a good tuner like dynojet. If any Indian in CT wants to meet up I would be up for some good fun! I see testing done121 cvo pre release tuner with just air filter and 2-1 pipe looking good 141 hp 150 tq waiting for them to release stock for the money will be hard to beat my 2023 was 44 out the door
The elite was pushing the brakes to the point of making the rotor smoke lmao it’s limited to 110 so when it passed the cvo neither had hit the limiter cvo can lose to my challenger anytime but I’m in Florida so not wasting the time unless you make it worth it $$$
Even if the CVO is a tad quicker than the stock Challenger, its a $45k motorcycle. You can find Challengers for $18k with low miles. You can see from the first race that an exhaust and a tune makes a Challenger faster than the CVO and the 112 big bore kit makes it EPICLY faster than the CVO. The cost to performance ratio of the Challenger is just so much better. There's cammed 112ci Challengers making 130whp/150lb-ft. If anything, the 121 vvt BETTER make 140whp/150ft-lb with a tune and some mods. Otherwise what's the point of the CVO? Fancy paint and bragging right? Naw, if im spending $50k on a motorcycle, it better be the baddest thing around by a long shot
@@billfischer8057 First off taking off from the light the cvo took him then he looked like he backed off because he felt he won I rewatched it again then red fish said bye bye in the video made a move to pass.. when cvo guy saw that he hit it again and was surging again! which makes cvo 2-0 lol also red fish said he made a mistake with traction control off spun tires. On my cvo I would want it tc off as well with custom mode, so it does not limit my power just have to practice off the line to not spin or wheelie lol I only race for fun anyway when people put money up it's not as friendly.
I rode a Challenger with a Sawicki and RVS tune for 2yrs and it smoked every Harley I ever ran. Now if you dropped $12k on the motor, HD can win! lol! I’m on a BMW K1600 Bagger now and it will smoke any Challenger!

K1600 are not joke.. like 165 HP... I ran one once and I hung pretty strong til around 100
K1600 is literally a sports bike with bags lol
