As someone that has been following you almost since the beginning, i can clearly say that you've made it so far in life and ever since you started posting. You've been working on your health including mental health, you've made youtube your main job, you've even BOUGHT A HOUSE, you've practically renovated everything yourself, you are constantly working on yourself, you keep up with your family and not many people can do as much as you did at your age! I know you might think to yourself you're getting older etc but you are actually still super young especially with all that you've achieved till this day. And admitting to having health issues including mental is a humongous step and the fact that you activly choose to help yourself and better yourself is amazing and i hope you are proud of yourself because you really schould be.

Drinking pineapple juice is supposed to be good for a cough. Also cut an onion in half and leave close to you at night, it draws all badness out, great if children have a cough too. What country are you in? There's a brilliant cough bottle you can get in Holland and barrett, when my son was about 4 he had a cough that wouldn't go, gave him this cough bottle (does not taste nice) and it was gone in days and never returned

    • @sandyvdh6226
      @sandyvdh6226 5 месяцев назад

Generally cough syrup does not really help well...unless to make you drowsy...
If still possible drink hot drink with honey and have fresh fruit fruit juices. Also people think lemon and pineapple but don't forget that potatoes and Bell Peppers have a fair amount of vitamine C too!
The onion is true but I personally never tested it... onion has antiviral capacities...
As exercise will boost your immune system you be glad to find out moving as little as 12 min to a rate that makes you breath harder aka moderate intense is enough to make you significantly healthier ...

It was a hard year. I moved into a new home and should have been on top of the world but when my freelancing writing dried up I got stuck in this weird frozen state where I’m scared to try for anything. Pushing ourselves into the fear zone with anxiety is just awful. Thank you for showing your vulnerability, I see you dealing with the same things I do with such honesty and it reminds me to give myself grace. You’re such an open person, 100% yourself no matter what, and we all adore you for it!

You accomplished so much Bea💗 getting trough those episodes, moving house, building your house, going on without your job, having close family relations, dating and now getting a boyfriend! Moving in together, cooking all kinds of dishes, working out almost 50%of the days despite of being sick some times, getting your Guinea pigs, looking after the dogs, being crafty and creative, and Al lot more I don’t know off, starting all kinds of projects!!! You are way to hard on yourself!!! Good to have health goals still, you can do it!! Even if some stuff fails, that’s just reality. Love you!!

You have done great this year and are inspiring so many of us. Please keep it up, lovely lady!

You are getting through it. Step by step. You are just like me. I am 54 and will not drive through a car wash. I have a fear of freeway driving and forced myself to take a vacation in 2017 and drove 5 states on the freeway. Exposure therapy helped my agorophobia in my 20s. Support from a person helps tremendously to get over things. So glad you have Steve in your life. You will feel more apt to exposure therapy.

Beatrice, do not give up. As long as you keep trying, you will eventually get there I have been watching your channel from the very beginning. You have such a great energy. I started dieting with you. From when you started vlogging. When I started I was obese. It has not been easy and I had some hard days, but I am now thin. I lost 100 pounds! It feels so great to be thin and I have so much energy. Do not give up on yourself. If you have a bad day or month, just start again. I did intermittent fasting, protein drinks, starved myself sometimes too. But, I knew I wanted to lose all the extra weight and I did it. I follow Daniella Joy. on youtube. She is so motivating . She lost 128 pounds on her own too.Just keep trying and visualize yourself in your mind how great you will look. People should not hate on you. It is so hard. But it is possible. I am older with a slow metabolism and I did it. I worked out at home and in the gym. The bottom line is you must be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. All the workouts alone will not drop the weight.Every time I look in the mirror, I can not believe it's me. Good luck in your weight loss journey!

I've been in this position before and have felt the same way about this year! I think it's partially an ADHD thing...our short term memory and long term memory get all fuzzed together and the hardest, most recent memories tend to show up first. I'm hoping you can move through the late fall/early winter memories of being sick/injured without so much shame and can mostly look at this year in awe of your personal development and recovery from last summer! Bea, I went through something so similar to you, a several months long sustained anxiety attack/a long ass dissociative episode where I can't even explain the feelings I was going through (and I had no previous history of anxiety or panic attacks like this). Coming out of it was gradual, but eventually happened but still have the anxiety and fear about it happening again when I go on trips/spaces I feel trapped, like movie theaters). Thank you for sharing! I haven't heard anyone else talk about anything like it, even my therapist isn't sure what it was/what triggered it!

I'm glad you got some positive reinforcement from the Co-Pilot wrap up! We are always going to be our worst critic, and I think it's a skill we need to build to actually give ourselves credit for what we HAVE accomplished. Also, when I left my IT Support career in 2021, it took me MONTHS to adjust and not be in a freeze state. The way I go through life has significantly changed. I am way more intentional in the way I do pretty much everything. It's slower, but it's what I needed to do for my mental health. It sounds like what you have been through with the dissociative and anxiety episodes that you're doing something similar and I just want to add my voice to say, you're doing great. I think it's a constant struggle to shut out the societal pressure to do more and be "productive", but it's just BS made up by people who want us to do things to make money to spend that money so they make more money. You do you! Happy you're here and I'M A FAN!!

🎉🎉🎉 happy ny bea! Your goals are my goals! 😂 Literally, I had a bit of an awful second half of the year tbh. Lows were losing my darling cat Tux to cancer in Oct, and also being diagnosed with epilepsy. However, I love my plants & my surviving kitty Pearl and my partner & I are moving to a new place in late Jan & it has such a lovely garden that I can't wait to settle in & get into. 🏡 I have so much food I want to grow and really supersize my existing herb garden.
I also tend to injure myself in unnecessary and accidental ways. 😅 Something I want to work on. I've been proud of keeping up with an exercise routine (except this week thanks to COVID) but back at it again tho! I'm so proud of yooooou!!
Consistency truly is key and I weight loss def wasn't my main focus this year either so that's why we should be proud of the effort we DID make 💪

YOU INSPIRE ME STILL to stay motivated at life in general honestly, and to set goals for myself when I thought i just could not anymore. YOU GO GIRL I am proud of your progress, even making these videos is FAR more progress than MOST people.
When i started eating whole food, about 9 years ago and.... i went plant based, ik-ik its not for everyone, BUT, i eat so much food, 3 meals a day, and i EFFORTLESSLY lost 30 lbs in 3 1/2 months and was blown away. I had been eating what i thought was healthy, working out, and even took....supplements to aid in weight loss with no results, (maybe down a pound or two in a month, but it would would come back + more sometimes) i tell you the cleaner and garden fresh style of eating has been such an easy, and simple way I've lost and maintained weight.
(total weight loss for me over approx. 3 years was 110 lbs after i cleaned up my food habits)

Bea, you are so relatable to me. I’ve been through the medication induced anxiety hell too. I’m so glad that you recognized that it wasn’t you it was the medication. And I’m not saying meds are bad for everyone but some of us need less (or none) not more. I’m the same with alcohol, I do not tolerate it well. With goal setting, I just saw a video from How to ADHD and she suggested setting goals for how you want to feel this year instead of action goals. Mainly because if you try something that doesn’t work, you can adjust your actions to better fit your goals. Just something to consider. I’m so proud of you and you’re doing great! ❤

I relate so much to having a huge mental health struggle, more or less “getting through it,” and then being in constant fear of it coming back. ❤ Definitely take time for yourself if you need it. I didn’t do that this year and regret it.

Yes Bea! Way to get grounded in more meaningful goals in a way that makes sense for you. I recently decided to shift away from heavier weights & focus on flexibility & mobility for the sake of finally becoming the runner I’ve always wants to be. Honestly, right now I’m shuffling down the street like a grandpa tortoise but my joints are solid & my thighs haven’t ripped thru my leggings yet so imma keep going lol 😂 Love the idea of a monthly fitness test too, might try to start doing that as well. Here’s to not giving up in 2024!! 🎉🎉🎉

I had my gallbladder removed this morning and for the past few weeks ive been really motivated to improve my health and keep that say main goal thats lifelong goal. Im disabled so I want to be mobile and healthy as long as im able. But after surgery this morning I tried to sit up in bed to take ibuprophen and physically couldnt. I panicked and started crying and had to call my brother to pull my up to sitting. Luckily ive been able to get up on my own since. But that was one of the most terryfying feelings ive ever had. Im a 277 pounds at 5'9 and this expierince has really made me evaluate my bad food choices and strive to make better less impulsive and healthier choices. My health is so important to me and im going to do my best to improve my quality of life. Seeing you push to be healthy despite setbacks really inspires me to keep going. I wish you all the success with your goals!

You should be really proud of yourself this year, you don't even realise how good you're doing! I am so impressed by the running, that's basically an 8m km (give or take) which is unreal. Your ab strength is also so incredible, 46 seconds is awesome. And all these benchmarks are just the beginning of what you're going to achieve. The last 2 or so years since discovering your channel, I feel like we're friends and it's so nice to watch you and Steven, your girl gang (mum nan aunt) do your thing. I know there's been a lot of low points this year, but don't forget all the highs as well!

biggest thing I ever came to terms with is that things that are out of our control will always be there -- there will always be reasons to get off track. But having systems in place (I always use a train analogy.. a train that's always chugging even if I hop off for a moment, but ready for me to hop back on once I'm ready) make it so much easier to stay on track. not momentary fads or challenges or checkpoint-style goals, but the system of a lifestyle. a routine that actually works for me and is forgiving and allows me flexibility to explore and have wiggle room. here's to 2023, and on to 2024 (:

Let’s build some confidence in ourselves this year! I’ve felt a lot of what you’re sharing on this last year too. I’ve gained a lot of weight, not just in my body, but in my mind too. Maybe it’s just finding an exercise we enjoy that will start the difference. Start with the body and the mind will follow.

Yay on the goal of gardening! If I may suggest, when I started gardening the first year, I started small with some easy wins. I ordered Greenstalk towers and all I had to do was water the plants from the top. Very little to no weeding. And I planted some easy starter things like radishes and salad greens! Obviously tomatoes are a fun goal but it’s nice to have items that grow at a variety of rates so you start to see your successes early on and then often 🥰

Thanks to watching you, I have been challenging myself more. Changed my style, worked out more, tried new things. I even found and grabbed some heel-like shoes just because I remembered you had 5 pairs of them.
I am so happy I found you on RUclips and I can do nothing but continue to cheer you on! You give some perspectives and respite to see you stay yourself and still going
