For fuckin' real man. People are always like "BVB famous because front man is unbelievably hot" they are actually a group of most talented and incredible artists. Their work keeps progressing and their music is incredible.
I’ve found BVB again after years. The only song I’ve ever listened to from them is Lost It All. My elementary and middle school self for some reason never listened to any other songs by them. I guess I was attached to that song lol. But I’ve now listened to more of their songs and I love them! Youth & Whiskey, The Outsider, and Wretched and Divine are just some of my favorites.
Looking back to the old stuff is about discovering great music and knowing how the band has progressed through the years if you didn’t hear them from the start, it’s just like checking out older bands and music from before you were born

They may have changed but there’s nothing wrong with enjoying their older stuff even if they don’t go back to that sound. Music is eternal and there’s no reason to not listen to something simply because of those views.

To be honest I loved BVB in their early stuff and everything I actively discovered along the way as a fan. I guess maybe because I’ve been here through the evolution, I don’t notice it dramatically. But I can still see there’s a change and that alone, that they’re changing but also keeping the stereotypical BVB sound/tricks with the “woahs” and the back-to-back guitar solos, is exciting. To see them change. To evolve but always in their own way remain true to their sound I guess.
I love it. I wasn't much of a fan of BvB until I went to the Trinity of Terror Tour part 2 (Huge INK Fan) and they blew me away with how good they were. I have loved it ever since.

First of all, they are playing older songs live, so it's still worth checking those out. Also, you could just listen to the older stuff, if you enjoy it more. No problem there imo. BUT, I have a suggestion that could be just the thing for you: Check out some songs from Re-Stitch These Wounds. That's the 10-year-anniversary re-recorded version of their first album We Stitch These Wounds. This way you'd get a glimpse at the early BVB style, but with their modern and improved sound and it's technically (and actually) somewhat new - from 2020.
This is definitely far closer in sound to what they did on their debut record, 'We Stitch These Wounds'. That said, BVB have never been a truly heavy band. Even when they were a Metalcore band they always took the melodic part of the genre to heart. Songs like, 'Perfect Weapon', 'Knives and Pens', 'All Your Hate', and 'Heaven's Calling' sum up their earlier sound pretty well if you wanted to check them out. 'Perfect Weapon' is probably all you need to hear if you only wanted to do one song from their past.

The lyrics relate to the chip on his shoulder about the hate his band has received over the years and how his desire to say “I’ll show you,” has fueled his desire to keep going. He knows seeking revenge is detrimental, but also the desire to say, “I’ll show them,” has been a driving force to continue and always striving for improvement. If you get a chance, there is an interview in RUclips of him discussing this song. The band and Andy’s father, Chris Biersack, have been commenting on these reviews, so keep an eye out for that. I saw bvb in concert this week and the stage had meat pie posters in the back. And before the come on stage lights go out and orchestral Sweeney Todd starts for about a minute to set the tone! It’s amazing can’t wait for the full ep to come out after this single!

Don’t really understand the take that you don’t want to listen to a band’s stuff that you might like just because they might not make more music like it. Why keep yourself from something you might like because something new might not be the same?
I understand psychologically that you potentially set yourself up to simply crave more of something that you're never going to get. It's the logic that if you've never tasted something in the first place then you can't miss it. Naturally humans will always crave more of what they love however that doesn't necessarily mean we should deny ourselves of ever experiencing it if we can just merely be grateful for the fact that it exists at all, even in limited amounts.
