KTM has no control over there showroom's whenever we compliant to customer care they never take responsibility, every KTM authorised showroom has their own separate policies which is not proper...
Yes I agree with you. Same thing happened with me also. Firstly there is no official toll free number of KTM. Bajaj's toll free is there. They also take up the complaint and forward it to nearest workshop. No grievance redressal policy in Bajaj and KTM
Sir, Never bike a newly launched bike or car. It'll definitely have faults which they will fix over time.
Secondly, the issues you have pointed could all have been fixed in future firmware updates.
About the bike running hot, all bikes will run hotter during the run in period. And about the FE, it'll also improve after the run in period.
Yes this is correct. We should wait for at least 5 to 6 months after the launch of new bike or scooty. Issues can be partially fixed through software updates. For some issues, the entire faulty part has to be replaced. Fuel efficiency will improve in near future after some services. Also it depends on the way the rider rides the bike.
That's why one should always wait for 2nd batch. I am planning to buy this bike but not till June 2024.

might be some pieces have issue. because i also bought D250 on 19 October and covered around 250+ km no such issues I've faced rn.

Odometer reset ki problem to koi latest software update kiya, us se theek ho gai. Baaki fuel gauge ka issue reh gaya tha, vo abhi theek nhi hua. Keh rhe the ke Fuel sensor change hoga. Itni saari problems this bike mei, maine to 40k loss mei sell kar diya bike ko.

KTM engines are high revv engines. Knocking sound is very common in high compression bikes. Try putting high grade and quality engine oil in your bike, like Motul 300v, Liqui Molly, Castrol Fully synthetic. It will 99% solve your problem. If problem is still there, then contact KTM customer care for this.
Humare yaha aise koi problem nahi hai because seller acha hona chahiye because agar koi bike mai kuch problem hai toh vo sell he nahi karni chahiye mere pas bajaj 200 ns hai aur ktm 390 le just but I don't have any such issues
Bagga Link karol bagh do these kind of manipulations very often. They sell even defective bikes. like my Duke 250, to customers, even without resolving the problem OR doing thorough PDI for this.

I have already filed a complaint with National Consumer Forum. Will wait for their response. If not satisfactory, then will go to consumer court for sure. I have these thoughts already in my mind.

KTM Duke 250 new model big problem engine and very bad quality???
All the KTM and bajaj bikes face the problem of engine sound, vibration and poor quality. Because ktm is manufactured by Bajaj in India and bajaj itself makes their bikes of very poor quality, so ktm has to suffer because of this. Another reason is ktm engine has high compression ratio and heating capabilities, due to which the chassis frame is not able to handle this much pressure on it, then this causes body vibration and engine noise.
In my personal opinion, please stay away from ktm, Bajaj bikes, If you want a smooth and hassle free ride experience.

Bike leni hai to japanese lo, specially Honda lo, mere paas 2013 model Honda dio scooter hai jo 87000 kms chal chuka hai aur usmei aaj tak sirf battery change hui ( ek baar), tyre change hue ( 2 baar) aur brake shoe change hue ( ek baar ), engine aaj bhi sealed hai yahan tak ki drive belt bhi change nahi hui hai, honda is 24 carat pure gold !!!😍😍😘😘
Japanese bikes are pure gem. I agree with you. But slight drawback is they lack in terms of power and price, which Indian brands have done PHD. But Indian brands lack reliability and build quality. Both the aspects are there.

Ap gen 3 duke 250 le sakte ho ab, because iska ab new lot aa chuka h manufacture hoke and previous model mei jo bhi dikkat thi 3rd gen duke 250 ke saath ab vo sab resolve ho gai h. Abhi new color bhi launch hua h duke 250 mei, dark blue with orange alloys ye Wahi color h jo 390 mei ata h 3rd gen Wali.

Abhi to current models aa rhe h, vo ab improve ho chuke hai, but jis time maine bike purchase kari thi, October mei, us time ye 1st lot ki bike thi and kaafi defects the bike mei, usi defects ki wajah se mai itna frustrate ho chuka tha ke within 10 days muje apni bike sale karni pad gai, at a loss of Rs 35,000.
Baaki ab ktm ne saari problems ko door karne ki koshish kari h, and kaafi hadd tak problems door bhi ho gai h, but vibrations ka issue abhi bhi h, and vo door nhi hoga because of high revving and high compression engines of KTM.

MT-15 any day. Because Yamaha is very much refined and easy to ride than KTM. It is my personal experience with both the brands. GO FOR YAMAHA.

Congrats bhai apko new bike ke liye. Actually timing ki baat nhi h, problem ye thi ki maine 1st lot ki bike li thi, to shuru ke kuch models mei shayad kuch kami aai hogi, to vo muje face karni pad rhi h.
Phir Bajaj ke service center ka response Acha nhi h customers ki complaint ko lekar. Service quality of Bajaj is horrible and pathetic.

Brother. 50KMPL ki baat nhi h, bike mei seriously issue h mileage ka. Aur bhi log aisi problem face kar rhe hai. Just ask them also.
@@TushirJain agar engine issue hai toh hoga he par 200 cc aur 250 cc jada mileage dete he nahi hai and on top of that jab vo old ho jati hai toh aur less mileage dete hai abb meri 200 ns 2014 ka model hai abb exact vohi mileage nahi deti
Go for yamaha mt15 only.
MT 15 is a good option but as compared to its competitors it lacks power. Else MT 15 is good bike.

Yes I agree with you. KTM is an Australian brand and Bajaj owns majority of shares in it. Bajaj should take this brand seriously because it is a premium segment and bikes are more than Bajaj itself. Same is the case with TVS and BMW joint venture.

Problem in Duke 250... What to do
Just sell it off OR spend your valuable time in service centers.
Meteor 350 lun yeh duke 250 gen 3
Both bike are of different segments. Agar apko long cruise karna h, comfortable ride and good handling, go for royal enfield. Meteor will not give top speed, but it will give sufficient torque and good riding posture. KTM will give you more top speed, but riding position is not as comfortable. KTM is on sports side. Long touring will be difficult on it. Mileage of both the bikes will be almost similar, it depends on how you drive. In my Opinion, go for meteor instead of KTM.

I have a thorough PDI of the bike before buying. But the problem is that KTM do not allow the customers to test ride the bikes even when they have purchased it. Also ap jitna bhi koshish kar lo, in depth PDI karna kisi ke liye bhi possible nhi hota, kuch n kuch to reh hi jata hai, purchase karte time.
