Some of your printer design are on my do this list keep up the good work bro!!
thank you!! Can't wait for the next K3 stream!
@@Rolohaun it will be about 20mins hope to you there.
This is what im looking for...i hope i can build one soon
Very cool. I've been looking to convert my old cobblebot into a CoreXY machine, and this looks like a great option. I'll probably have to work around some of my existing hardware, but I like what I'm seeing with SimpleCore.
thanks
the color looks so great!
Thank you!
Its great, I wait the next video, congrats
Closely following! Thankyou!
Consider inverted electronics mod done for trident :)
Awesome, keeping an eye on your projects and counting down to getting a bigger work/play space
I like the idea of a simple core around Prusa mini build volume, but I kind of want to go all out on a 350mm^3 build volume tridentish setup with AWD and ballscrew triple Z
thanks! There are definatly alot of designs out there, I do like Mirage C's hevort too, and VZbots are nice. MK2 Bijou will be able to use a 180 / 200 bed so keep and eye out for that!
What's the advantaged of this vs building a complete trident? The simplified belt path and bed mounting is the only difference that I see, and don't really see that there would be much of a difference, yes less hardware, less friction but not really that impactful. The simplified bed mount is a plus. As far as I can tell this is basically just a trident mod. Why not just build a trident to begin with?
Just another option for people, Y carriages in the final version will be lighter than trident, electronics will be on the back panel for easier access, motor in the front with less idlers should give higher acceleration and this will have a belted Z option
@@Rolohaun I can appreciate that, any plans to design for MGN12 Linear rails ? I know the issues with enclosing when using these but, as you stated you aren't enclosing anyway, and there are other options for enclosing when using MGN12's.
@@Manawar you mean MGN12 for Y and Z?
@@Rolohaun Yes, MGN12 for all axis
being selfish here as I have lots of MGN12 and zero MGN9
Love it!
Why did you switch from carbon fiber rods to the linear rail for the X axis, for this build?
Carbon rods are hare to get with a consistent OD
Very nice❤
why AB motors on front and not the back? would it be easier to wire and look neater having steppers at back?
you need more bearings because the belt routing is much different and it makes the printer difficult to build, I wanted to simplify everything and reduce friction on the belts as much as possible
Congrats on the design. It seems solid. I can't download the step file from github... can you help? Thanks
that is a github issue, you need to right click the download and say "Save Link As"
Mantis Gang
Superb. Is it possible to have only one Z axis motor?
I really don't think there would be enough support, beds can be heavy and vibrate very easily if not supported well.
Look at the VzBot Z assembly, it uses a single motor with 2 supporting leadscrews on the bed.
@@MatrixRay19 hi matrixray
Look this list ruclips.net/video/iQ0rdn6oL68/видео.html its amazing tutorial
What's the max speed you've tested on it?
15k accel, 200mm/s
Hey buddy, has your website been hacked?
I had to get rid of it, GoDaddy is crooked
this not really a build video it more like that you are building of cam and telling us what you did in your videos @ Rolohaun
yes I don't really like build videos as they are to long. This generally will go over tips and such. I prefer these type.
