To anyone who thinks this is a waste of time... Obviously this move is more for entertainment, that's why I say that right in the beginning of the video, but there are actually a ton of fundamental benefits from getting moves like this down. Think of it almost like lifting weights. You'd never bring weights on the court, but you know it still benefits you. Moves like this are similar in how they develop balance, foot speed, ball control, body coordination, confidence, etc. I'm not advocating spending most of your time on it if you have goals in fundamental basketball, but there are benefits to occasionally working on things like this. Not to mention it can break up the monotony of more serious training.

I've never used the ball spin lol, no wonder it looks so weird when I do it (I get one leg up WAY higher than the other, so the ball can go under).. now I should be able to do it 🤣🏀..
