I really appreciate your honest and sincere reaction to the milk. I hope you guys will never hesitate to say that something isn't great. There are too many travel channels where every single thing is said to be the best ever. I like authenticity and I love your channel. I never really was inspired to visit France until I found Les Frenchies!

I agree. Ayran is a VERY specific flavour; possibly thirst quenching on a very hot day (because of the salt), but after several times trying it I can honestly say if you haven't grown up with it (like Vegemite for us in Australia) you almost certainly won't like it. I also respected the honest reaction very much - it boosts confidence that all the reactions are genuine!

I agree, much respect and many thanks for your honesty about the drink. It shows that you both have integrity when describing the food, drinks and places that you visit.
I will honestly be able to visit some of the Restaurants you have both praised , knowing you are sincere in your reactions and recommendations. We all have different taste buds, it's true, but I love that honesty. I live in Australia Steele Crown and Vegemite isn't for me, but neither is Marmite from Uk. Looking forward to exploring European foods next
      Thank you again

One of the best examples of why #LesFrenchies is probably the best Parisian channels on #RUclips (it's really #1 for me) as ou get the complete spectrum of food and activities in Paris. Budget to pricey, fast food to elegant dining, and all the ethnic delicacies that make Paris a truly international destination. Honest reviews on the local culture with tips from from locals about all the secret spots. Love when you try new foods from around the world. Thanks for taking the time to research, experience, and compile a places to see and foods to eat.

This is a very good channel for people thinking (like me) of a food-centric trip to Paris. I especially appreciate the breadth of restaurants, holes-in-the-wall etc. you cover, from the finest of fine dining to the street foods like this (my preference is the street foods). Again, great and very helpful content. High praise for that burger - best ever in your life? That place immediately went on my list!

Thank you for another great video! We've been watching a lot of travel vlogs in preparation for our first trip to Paris with our one year old and your videos are by far the best - useful information and great insider tips (unlike lots of "influencers" who film themselves posing and not a lot else). Would love to see a video with tips on Paris with a baby as I've heard it's not very friendly (few lifts/baby changing etc) but appreciate that your kids are a bit too old now 🙈

    • @gmmccune
      @gmmccune Год назад

@@LesFrenchiesTravel you're right - it might be a bit difficult to acquire a baby for Vlogging purposes 🙈 I suppose my initial concern was accessibility related - we're bringing a travel stroller and plan on doing lots of walking but we've been told that we can't go to certain areas, like the Sacre Coeur or even on public transport with the stroller. I've been looking on ParisInfo as per your suggestion in another video so I'm not just as concerned as I was as lots of places do seem to be accessible. We have a baby carrier so we'll try to leave the stroller at home and use that on days when we know we're going somewhere that's not very accessible.
Another concern/query is just what Paris/France is like for people with babies/young children. We've read that restaurants don't have high chairs, there are no baby changing tables in restaurants/public toilets and that breast feeding in public (even if done discreetly) is frowned upon. I know you can't generalise too much and that we'll probably be fine if we use common sense (and if the baby behaves himself) but I would hate to try bring him somewhere like the Louvre and to be made to feel unwelcome etc.
He's been to London and Edinburgh and has been totally fine in restaurants and on public transport etc so I'm maybe overthinking it - after all, Parisians have babies too!

We're on the last leg of winter so our temps here in Michigan are averaging 40-50 degrees. Watching how you guys are dressed helps me a great deal in deciding when to visit. Fantastic video and incredibly useful, thank you. Let me first say that I have never tried the yogurt drink you tried at the end of the video. Because of the location of Turkey, I always picture it as hot for the majority of the year. On a hot afternoon and you just sat down under some shade hoping for a slight breeze, I can see a cool yoghurt drink with replacement salt as a smart choice, a refreshing drink and one you have a craving for when you developed a taste for it before you learned to talk. I am not a big Gatorade fan because of all of the sugar (which isn’t a bad thing but I am no longer an athlete) but I do like the saltiness of it when it is very hot and I have been working outside. It might be worth giving it a second chance on one of the hotter days in Paris. I don’t know but I am typing out loud.

Yum. Everything looks so good! Did they have a sweetened version of that yogurt drink? If they do, it’s a must try. It’s delicious and not salty.

@@LesFrenchiesTravel oh well! 😆 I’m not partial to the salty version either. Definitely an acquired taste.

I'm Persian and we have the same drink make 2 ways: one fizzy and one without fizz with mint on top.. My kids and I love it; but their American husband had the same facial reaction as you when he tasted it. lol!!!

Hello, we love you guys. My wife and I are set to be in Paris this coming Tuesday the 8th through the 14th. The forecast shows that it will be raining everyday we are there. Will Paris still be lively? Is theere something we should plan for? Thank you both for what you do. You have inspired us.

BTW that is not milk, it’s Ayran. It’s basically shaked up yoghurt with salt. Me personally I don’t enjoy it, but there are ayran pckages with different kinds of fruit. Like mango.
The natural one is something I think you have to get use to to enjoy 😊
    My family loves it though!

Hey guys - I was just wondering, what do you guys know about drones and drone policies in Paris? Are you allowed to fly drones to get nice pictures etc? What are the restrictions for those?

Bonsua mon ami!!!! I am planning a solo trip to Paris for around a week on my own. Is there a location you would recommend for a middle age woman to stay at that is relatively safe and not so expensive? Thank you
