This month, Boiler Room was due to broadcast from Kyiv but we are instead now diverting our efforts to urgently raise funds to help refugees fleeing Ukraine. I used to hear Gilles Peterson on the late night radio in the Netherlands on stations long gone now, I always pictured him a big bald Jamaican man living in London. Today that idea got crushed.

Been listening to Gilles for over 20 years now! My absolute favourite DJ. Never disappoints. So many great nights at the SubClub over the years dancing all night to his unbelievable record collection. Still have loads of minidiscs of his old Radio 1 show.

Gosh..... Gilles Peterson..... I used to listen to him DJing late night on BBC Radio 1 back in 2010s? One time he invited Rapahael Saadiq over and that has always been the most magical radio show in my life to this day.
He's completely in this.... Master of Sound and composition.
Everything is okay with life listening to this. 🙏
