      @James.KingHTX  5 дней назад +1

      @@QRS365 it’s basically the same functionality as the 8. Just a little louder and a little bigger. Not really much to talk about.

    Amazing review man! That’s awesome you have both! I don’t have them but these really seem like the king of the battery powered speakers!! Also really cool to see how you use that comica set to catch for some extra audio! I like that it’s not the main mic but more of a support mic. Great job!!

    Where did you get the cable to power the Phenix Pro unit? Or did it come with it to plug into the Everse?

    • @James.KingHTX
      @James.KingHTX  22 дня назад

      @@tylershannon6228 when you buy the Tray that mounts on the top of the Everse it comes with a power cable that works with the PTU71. It doesn’t work with every single Mic set but does with this one.

    Thank you very much for the great review! That is a very clean and easy setup! Also, I've NEVER seen the POLARIS stand before. Can you think of any situation where a tripod would be recommended over using a Polaris stand? Seems like the best way to go. Keep up the great work!

    • @James.KingHTX
      @James.KingHTX  Месяц назад

      @@DJMaSoySauce yeah definitely check out the Polaris stand! IDJNow sells a pair and they are not too expensive! The only downside where a tripod is better is if you are setting up on uneven ground like in the grass and the flat base can not sit flat. Then you need a tripod!

    Great video! I too, have Phenyx PTU 71B, handheld and lavalier. How many guests outside would you say the EVERSE 8 or EVERSE 12 are appropriate for? Thanks

    • @James.KingHTX
      @James.KingHTX  Месяц назад +1

      @@djmikebuck6341 it really depends on other factors. In most venues we do here in Texas barn style wedding guests range from 75-150 I would use the EV8. For 150-200 I would use the EV12. And for more than 200 I would link them together and use both!

      What are the possible ways and means to link two Everse 12 for an outdoor event of about 500 guests?@@James.KingHTX

    • @James.KingHTX
      @James.KingHTX  Месяц назад

      @@pelongkonyak6063 For sound you can link them via bluetooh in the settings, but if you want the Mics and everything to link you have to use a wireless XLR Transceiver/Receiver kit.
