Since one car is older, the compression and spark etc are just that much weaker to give the edge to the newer car. Transmission oil too.
well it depends what if he changes his spark plugs engine oil timely and cvt transmission of honda civic oil should be replaced at 45000 to 50000 kilometers.
Actually the lag between Rs turbo & normal turbo is the vehicle no 30 is 5 years older & driven many miles! Catalytic have a lots of carbons & plugs aren’t new! Fuel & air filters ! Many things will be changed before comparison,
Yes, all and alot of factors come into play.
Rs turbo is 14 psi and old turbo is 18 psi after de tuning my brothers 2016 turbo was still 16 psi and my 2021 turbo was 14 psi . So i tuned my car to 16 psi and with everything matched serviced at same time same kms driven . Our Both cars are equal at every speed . Both cars are on 18 inch rims . If 2016 turbo was serviced plugs and other things changed . New turbo wouldnot come near at any point

RS is all stock and standard.
The pre face lift 2016 has had upgraded lights only. Other than that both are as they are from factory.
Races should be carried out like this. On highways, with least traffic. Not on roads like Canal road where you risk hitting people on bikes, rikshaws etc.

And about the cars, both are equipped with exactly the same power and drivetrains, except that Honda remapped the ECU in the facelift resulting in more peak torque and end brake horsepower I think which is really visible as pre-facelift launches quicker but RS Turbo produce more power and torque at higher RPMs.
The benefit of mapping and tuning ECUs to your choice is amazing.

And yes these cars have different tune maps hence shown in the race. The 0-100 time is really felt in the pre-facelift. But gradually and in rolling RS ultimately takes the lead.

I think both cars have the exact same engine and transmission with same power output. Then why would they accelerate differently? Their drive should be near identical
Tunes are different and in the longer run maintenance matters as well which is why the Pre-fl starts to lose.
civic rs has cvt transmission so it has worse acceleration but better and smoother drive

Bro we used a controlled environment for both Cars. It was not a street race so paddle shifters were not used in either cars.

2.0 turbo diesel, Audi A3 Quattro. Stock 170hp 260ft lb torque tuned to 220hp 325ft lb torque

Did I start telling you about 300hp tuned diesels? Using hybrid turbo bolt on and just a remap with stock injectors and exhaust.
