I know it’s not original to the car, but I think the hood tach would be a super cool add on! Regardless of what you do, I look forward to you bringing the car back to its glory days!
You can decode the engine from the passenger side of the block in front of the passenger side cylinder head. There will be a pad at the base of the head on the block with production information about the engine.
Nice car, I like the FB more than the Camaro also. Get rid of the gear drive. That was a popular 80's upgrade and just sounds terrible in my opinion. Looks like a solid car to start with, I know you'll do a great update with it. Looking forward to seeing future videos on this one...

I love those hood tachs too. I’ll have to see if it was an option on a 350 hood. I know it was on a 400.
Small block Chevy in a 68 firebird. Kool!
Mark I have watched you for a while and I know you’ll wave your magic wand and take this nice car and turn it into an awesome one 👍🏻
“Wave the magic wrench”
Thanks for your long term support!

Firebirds were such a sexier car as apposed to the bellybutton Camaros
Nice car
I love it
It’s what I would want
Nice find
If anyone can fix it it’s you
Can’t wait
Looking forward to seeing what you do with this. The engine could possibly be a 305 also.
I think we’ve determined (since we filmed this) that it’s a 327.

Thanks! Yes the gear drive is history for sure.
Put a fan shroud back on it.
If you repaint it go back to green
That’s the plan!
