Shakir was a number 1 receiver at Boise State, after Diggs lost a step and couldn't separate or get open deep Shakir along with Kincaid was the Bills receiving game and they went 6-0 in the last 6 games to win the AFC East and get the number 2 seed in the AFC. In those 6 games Diggs had what 10 receptions. You all talk about what Buffalo lost but next year Buffalo has 3 picks in the first two rounds for Beane to use.

For the love of... stop making comps between the Bills and Chiefs. There is no comp for the way the Chiefs operate in the front office, the overall experience and success of the coaching staff, and the individual talent of Mahomes/Kelce/Jones. It's been years of this, and still, the results for the Bills and the results for the Chiefs don't seem to matter. Buffalo can't even get out of the divisional round, and they are farther away today than they were a year ago. Its a rebuild following a run that wasn't that earth-shattering. What are we talking about here?
I disagree with your point about Buffalo being in a rebuild. All they've done for the most part is release a few aging veterans and a few Players that we're consistently injured. They still have a relatively young roster and Bean has done very well drafting since he's been the GM. The Chiefs are the top dogs and Buffalo isn't that far behind.
@ahyashrawchaa1310 Respectfully, releasing/trading veterans and filling with youth is the definition of a rebuild. That's why I get so confused about Bills/Chiefs comparisons. KC started a rebuild in 2021, had either the youngest or near youngest rosters in the NFL for the last two years and won Superbowls both years. That's the bar right now, and again, not wanting to be disrespectful, but the Bills are really far behind and have been far behind for mostly the whole 4 or 5 year run. They've always had a puncher's chance because there were pieces with high skill - the problem was that the expectation for them was to be the favorites or neck and neck with KC.

Allen is on another level from Newton.
Allen has an awesome young team around him. Good options Kincaid is a rising star. Shakir looks great. Samuel is a great addition better than departing Davis and Bills will get an improvement from Diggs soon. They will literally be better and cheaper. In 2025 with this Diggs trade it will give back 47 million in cap space for addition of a couple blue chip free agents. Bills are low key improving while mainstream media is sleeping and not doing their homework. Talking about players they lost who never played cuz they always hurt, or older and fading. Bills already replaced most of them and Diggs is next. Bills have many picks in draft and will move up and get a star #1 receiver and make another new run at the Super Bowl while people sleep on them.

This is a false narrative you kc stans love to ejaculate everywhere. Total fantasy. Diggs has declined since mid-2022. He is not a #1 receiver according to multiple NFL scouts. Bills didn't have a #1 or #2 as Davis was awful dropping everything. Mahomes is painted as this poor qb who has the worst receivers. Total bs. Those terrible receivers caught the winning plays. Allen's receivers Diggs, Davis and Sherfield did not and that is why they're gone and Bills are reloading after keeping their best pass catching options like rookie sensation TE Kincaid and wr Shakir. Bills got Cook and Samuel and will get a superstar in the draft. Allen and Bills will ball out 2024, 2025 and beyond
Going to get new WRs. Davis and Diggs were our 3rd and 4th targets the back half the season. Kincaid and Shakir time plus Samuel and a new WR coming.
To the point about Josh Allen having the option to respond to the loss of his #1 WR "the way Mahomes did" (i.e., changing the way he played a bit, and helping to coach up the new players) vs. "the way Aaron Rodgers did" in Green Bay (i.e., sulking and pouting) ... do people REALLY have any doubt about how Josh Allen will act? Puhleeezze. Five main points:
1. Allen is as ULTRA-COMPETITIVE and wants to win as badly as anybody, BUT he's a small-town guy at heart with a really nice, caring, helpful "good dude" personality who is NOT a diva at all; he's like a big "golden retriever" or "black labrador" ... so he's wired to be a problem solver and helpful to the new players.
2. After being discounted all his playing life at the college and JUCO level, Allen is VERY appreciative of the Buffalo Bills organization for having so much faith in him and moving up in the draft to get HIM -- he promised on draft day that he will move heaven and earth to make the Bills look like the smartest people in the world for drafting him; i.e., he takes his responsibility seriously to elevate the "we" instead of the "me" and would NEVER do anything to be a "problem" in Buffalo. Josh Allen "gets" blue-collar Buffalo and is "tailor fit" for Buffalo the way NO OTHER NFL QB is for his team's community.
3. Because of #1 and #2 above, I firmly believe Josh Allen has a bit of a (SILENT) chip on his shoulder; I believe he felt deeply betrayed by his "big brother" Diggs turning on him, stabbing him in the back like a snake, constantly disrespecting, undermining, and embarrassing him publicly through his microaggressions, body language, and social media (who in Allen's position wouldn't feel that way?) -- BUT Allen NEVER said a word publicly about his true feelings, he ALWAYS "took the high road," remained above-board, and he ALWAYS defended and praised Diggs in public despite being treated like cr@p by Diggs and his camp. Accordingly, I believe Josh Allen is burning on the interior to show Diggs, the NFL, and all the hater talk show pundits and bloviators (looking first in line at you Nick Wrong) that his [Allen's] success, while certainly ASSISTED by Diggs, is nonetheless NOT SOLELY ATTRIBUTABLE TO, NOR DEPENDENT UPON Diggs.
4. UNLIKE Aaron Rodgers' situation (where, if you believe him, Green Bay never consulted him on trades and draft strategy/picks), Josh Allen was consulted by Brandon Beane; he was NOT "blindsided" by this Diggs development, and therefore he has no reason to "pout" or be at odds with Bills' management (so why would he "respond" the way Rodgers did in Green Bay? He wouldn't).
5. Josh Allen certainly studies Mahomes and the Chiefs as the Bills' chief (no pun intended) AFC nemesis and obstacle to reaching a Super Bowl game; he recognizes their standard of excellence, and thus he is MUCH more apt to follow their recipe for success as opposed to the Aaron Rodgers model (so why wouldn't he "respond" the way Mahomes did? He would).
BOTTOM LINE: I have ZERO WORRIES about how Josh Allen will respond and carry himself in the wake of Diggs' departure from the Bills.
Now lets see what success josh allen has with that receiving core. Lamar went 4 years with a receiving core just as average
My take on these 2 Guys, They both run WAY TOO MUCH, it's part of their offense and it shouldn't be. It's been proven by Lamar getting hurt multiple times...Allen has had much better receivers the last 3-4 years and still runs too much...Neither has a RING! A QB is a Passer first, running is fine but it can't be your get out of bad spot 60 yrd run. It needs to be a run not expected. Everybody covers Lamar and Josh as another RB in the backfield. If they settled in and used their offense the right way...They might have a ring by now....They are sizing up Diggs ring as we speak......
Lamar Jackson has the best running attack in the NFL for 4 years also

Allen had 51 tds in 2023 and 2 playoff games. Just 18 interceptions which is only 2 more than Mahomes (only 1 more including Mahomes playoff interception) and Allen had less fumbles than Lamar Jackson, the 2023 Affirmative Action MVP award winner 🏆 👏 😂 Allen led the NFL in touchdowns and yards and top-5 in every meaningful qb stat yet they gave the MVP to middling Lamar. Shameful. Allen is gonna be a terror in the coming years and his team is retooling smartly. Super Bowl wins coming. KC's luck squeezing by the Bills is gonna run out.

Josh Allen is a good , but he has to make better decisions on his throws. 18 interceptions per a season isn’t gonna win you a ring. He has thrown an interception or more in every game in the regular season , but 2 games. That’s not good.

Diggs is mad overrated and disappeared in the back half of the season. They made a crazy playoff push in spite of Diggs's play, not because of it
