Good stuff, it IS mostly about keeping the woman on her track / slot while the guy works his turn pattern magic around her, the same rules apply to Hustle and West Coast Swing so these rules are mandatory across most of the popular social dances performed today. If beginner dances focused on these concepts from the start, they’d master the dance much quicker than just memorizing cool turn patterns, IMHO!

I have a question about tracks concerning the cross body lead 180 or progressive cross body lead. Does this same rule apply? If so, what does that look like? I'm having trouble getting to the outside and out of the way in time.
Great video guys👍🏻!!! I was hoping you could show what it looked like when the ladies were off the track and not having their feet turned out to keep balanced and find their partner. I find myself at times having to compensate for the follower and get on her track. Ladies always want it their way right🙄😂😂JK Just Kidding!!!!
