It's pretty unprecedented in this day and age to have a core of 3-4 future Hall of Fame players on one NBA team who have been together from anywhere from 9-13 years. And having the same coach for nearly 8 years is incredible, too. Granted, Iguodala left for one year due to salary cap issues, but since it was a "dead" year for GS due to all the injuries it was immaterial anyway. It's really astounding. And while they had "family" drama for certain over that run, the love, admiration, and care they have for one another is inspiring.
I very much hope that Andre Iguodala is awarded an Assistant Coaching position with the Warriors next year. I also hope they are able to keep Wiggins, Poole, GPII, and Looney, integrating the next generation so to speak. Bob Myers and the ownership aren't afraid of paying luxury tax to keep fantastic players together.

@@TheWutangclan1995 I have thought about that possibility. But guaranteeing a title also grants you a LOT of money. It's stupid to risk losing today on purpose, since you can lose it all. In the end, the safest bet is to win today. It's just stupid to lose game 6 just to make a few millions for game 7 and then lose a title. The revenue that goes to the champion from so many different streams is astronomical and you capitalize on that for years! The Warriors organization wouldn't even be here if they were this stupid.

I'm pretty confident that the Celtics will blow Golden State out in game 6, or at least win in general. Unless they just lay down and lay an egg, but they've played great with their backs against the wall. If they do lose this series, I don't think it'll be in Boston. This series is going 7.

The dude has been playing in major distress, and clearly only 60%. I'm not trying to be a biased fan boy, but I genuinely think the Celtics would have swept GS if Timelord was 100%. He's been the biggest key to their dominance in the second half.. Don't be suprised if the Celtics come back next year and win 70+ games. They're the real deal when healthy.

Boston over reacted to Game 4. They played so close up on Steph on Game 5 and it just opened things up for Wiggins, Draymond and other to get floater buckets in the paint. Boston should’ve live or die with Curry being great but shutting the rest of the Warriors down like they did the first 4 games. I would actually say they played good against Steph and Klay the first 4 games. You just can’t allow the others to get rolling. Especially Poole. Now he’s feeling it, now the stage doesn’t feel too big for him anymore, now his confidence is through the roof and he’s just a game changer as a 6 man.
That’s why GS is a better team, doesn’t matter who you try and cover it opens up the floodgates .
If u think about this series should be done Game 1 was a slip up . Game 3 of course they would win Boston back home
But GS has played like the better team all around.
They did not play good against Steph the first 4 games. Those games he averaged 34 points a game. He cooked them each game. He could have had at least 25 points in game 5 if he would've taken some of those 2's instead of trying to find his stroke from 3.
It does not matter: the Celtics win the 2022 NBA Finals in 7 games. Al Horford and Robert Williams will come alive, and the Celtics will blowout the Warriors in Game 6 and Game 7.
It's pick your poison at this point for Boston. Curry was killing them the whole series. Boston had to respond to him aggressively just based on how good Curry has been playing. It's just unfortunate for Boston that Wiggins decided to step up last night. Wiggins desperately wants his 1st ring and it showed.
If Boston has any chance of forcing a game 7, they gotta take the ball out of Curry's hands and hope that the roleplayers have an off night on the road.
Boston is better. They just have to not guard Curry so close and see if he can beat you again. He had to put on an all-time performance for them to win game 4 so why not just trust that gameplan.

Warriors winning it all once again will hopefully show teams that its worth investing and slowly improving.
