    Definitely would like a follow up when you get the chains installed to weigh down the curtains. (Maybe your air quality result’s already include the chains, but it wasn’t clear.) 👍👍😎👍👍

    you mentioned the absence of bugs or dirt. That may change as you get into the warmer months. Nicely done. You sure have skills!

    Seems to work good. The paint job turned out awesome that's the main thing.

    What ceiling track system is that? Can you drop a link or manufacturer name?

    Thoughts on this suggestion. Do you feel it would work better if the fans were a bit higher. The paint booths I've worked in, the exhaust fans are usually 3 to 4 feet off the ground.

    Nice. I want that. Im still trying to decide whether to put in a 12' tall roll up garage door, or keep the sliding door there. You see any advantages to either with the spray booth? The roll up seals better, but the sliding leaves more vertical space for crane work.

    Hi, I was wondering what kind of track system did you used to hold up that curtain? What’s the name of the company that sells the curtain?

    I love it! I just asked about the curtains on another video of yours so it’s cool to see the whole process of building it. I’ve thought about doing such a curtain for a wood shop’s to separate it from the automotive side of the shop.
    Also you have the flex tube, maybe add that to in inside so you sucking from the back of the area. One fan at the door and one in the back both pushing out the bottom on garage door??? Just a idea, it might help?

    I would've thought you paint from REAR of the truck to avoid any over spray.?

    Mayby add another fan in the back with some ducting, you could run the ducting underneath your shelving system?

    don't you need to put something around the fans as well? I can see some light coming through from around the sides of those fans or does that not matter?

    I want to believe you owned that smoke machine for other reasons prior to the making of this video.

    How good did the vent fans work out ?? Thinking bout doing the same

  • @adamfoster5334
    @adamfoster5334 Год назад +1

    It might help to enclose the ceiling and add vent holes in the back to make a cross breeze.

    You are gonna need a better fire extinguisher for your shop! That tiny unit will not do much. I suggest a 20lb abc unit for a shop that big and a 10lb co2 for smaller fires so it won’t ruin your work

    I had a makeshift indoor spray booth one time. Spraying automotive clearcoat with a dedicated clear gun. One time we forgot to turn the fans on and it filled my 4000sqft with atomized clear. I was the one spraying and I came out and asked my helper what was happening and we realized our error. Turned on the fans and it cleared out relatively quickly. Long comment to say, I bet a roof on the boot would be a welcome improvement.

    I like the versatility of those curtains! Would also be great to isolate body filler dust from clean projects. I'm definitely going this route once my shop starts making more than barely making ends meet.

    Nice system but you should wet the floor before painting so you don't get dirt in your paint job

    If I were designing it I would create a way to make sure you keep the air evacuated from reentering the system, maybe a side draft fan or similar

  • @NDB390
    @NDB390 7 месяцев назад

    Need filters in the back and draw air from the shop to get more of a crossdraft across the whole booth.

  • @adamfoster5334

    How fast can you change the air volume in the area? I would go for 4 times a min.
