When we put trucks together for us or anyone else.. they're all run in sever conditions. Farm, dump trucks, logging... We always moved things up out of the way. Corn stalks, tree branches on the ground, big rocks, well all tare Stuff up!! On my 4 axle, I even put skid plates on the bottom of the drop frame to protect the air bag fittings.. So drives me nuts when Engineers design stuff to get destroyed...
I used to drive Volvo FM12 and FH12 articulated trucks for a customer. Great trucks but just like anything else, not perfect. Enjoy the snow if you can young man!
The only thing am not clear on are the engines Mack or Volvo they look the same the valve adjustment method is the same even the shim kit I believe are interchangeable who knows

What are the part numbers for the hose and the connectors?
Man they change by year , the length is what changed in a pinch I used fuel line and hose clamps to get a guy down the road 80 miles to the dealer
