The record I'm really stoked about (as is my son, who turned me on to them) Is Louis Cole and Metropole Orkest's nothing. Never quite sure what to call this kind of music - kinda jazz fused with funk fused with electronica. The early tracks released on it were brilliant so I'd highly recommend it!
I have pre-ordered both the Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson titles! I missed out on Geddy's RSD release a few years back since I had not started collecting vinyl again at that point!
I thought about getting the Jeff Healey Lost soundtrack and Jefferson Airplane 's Woodstock set. But at $60.00 for each, I decided to pass on them for now.
BecauseSoundMatters just announced on Steve Westman's show that they are doing a One-Step of American Idiot and pre-orders will be available on Friday Aug 9th! It's a double album I believe so probably $125 and limited to 3000. Also planned is a One-Step for Dookie. I know you're a huge Green Day fan so keep your eye out for these! I am great at spending your money 😂
Hey Nick. Outside of the Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee self releases, I am looking to pick up the Jeff Healey Band: The Lost Soundtrack from Road House since the original soundtrack only featured a few tracks from the movie. Saw the Linkin Park releases coming up a couple of weeks ago and revisited the early albums. Unclear why, but I am just not connecting with the music like I did when the albums originally released, so I am going to pass on those. Actually looking forward to next week's releases.
Thanks for the heads-up on the Wayne Shorter reissue. I have Night Dreamer, Schizophrenia, and The All Seeing Eye. Did Kevin Gray cut this Speak No Evil?

Looks like both the black and blue pressings were mastered by Kevin and pressed at Optimal.
@@TheVinylDen Oh, very nice 👍
Hasn’t Rotten Apples been moved back a week, think it has in the UK.
@@woodylufc Not that I’ve seen (at least here in the U.S.). My local record store still has it listed for this Friday.
