Wow Fenna , you did a great job ! I just bought the same pan, and am dying to try making one ! I have made hundreds of cakes over the years, but have never used the fondant ! Looked like fun and your cake came out beautiful . I can only hope mine turns out a great as yours. I loved your set up and your photos of the little guy were so precious !!

That turned out so cute!! 💕 I’m a photographer too and my mom bakes the cakes for my cake smash sessions! I really love the cupcake, we might have to get that kind of pan! Also, LOVE the new bench!! It looks so great!! 🤩

Hi Fenna, just curious how it works with your baker. I remember you mentioning you were planning on picking up a few cakes at a time and keep them until the session since you moved far away from her shop. Is that what your doing now? If so, how many do you get at a time and how do you store them?
Also, could you do a video on how you store all your other props like the star, flag, feather garlands and such? Your studio is always so clean an organized (and I’m sure you have lots of things!). Could you also do a breakdown on the “sets” you have for cake smashes (like the blue, the pink/gold boho, etc I can’t think of what other ones you have). It’s so hard being a beginner trying to keep things minimal but also offering different setups if that makes sense.

It was fun to watch the process and I think you did a great job. This might come in handy if the client has any dietary restrictions You can make a cake for them with custom ingredients.

Ik doe het net andersom haha, ik was een bakker en maakte dit soort taarten en ben nu overgegaan op fotografie. Mocht je dit nog vaker willen doen Fenna, schaf dan de M1 tip aan van Wilton. Dan krijg je die mooie rozen. Voor een eerste keer zag deze er aardig uit hoor! Goed dat dit weer wat extra respect opleverd voor de bakkers 👍👍

I'm not 100% sure about the shipping yet. We're testing a heavier (but more beautiful) type of wood now, so it depends a bit on the weight. Shipping to Australia might be 23 euros or 46 euros (depending on the weight). The letters I got a long time ago in a store called Xenos.

Because I really like that backdrop color just not sure what’s the name to search for. I have tried solid white, solid cream or plain white, not sure which color of yours. Thanks for reply!
Often I use this one for my cake smashes: www.studiobackdrops.eu/en/1480,photography-backdrop-1502g but they light grey is the actual back side of a backdrop from www.fotoachtergronden.nl

Shipping to Ireland would be 27,50 euros including track&trace and insurance. Not too bad right :)

@@monikatajchman No that just covers the postage. I'm still deciding on a price for the bench. They are all handmade in the Netherlands with love :) They're made from good quality wood, well-build so they last, smooth so they won't hurt the babies and available in several finishes to match your set.
