Very nice indeed! Recently this organ is again restored in 2017. Not only the pipes but the paintings of the panels as well. It is always a feast when they open up the panels for a recital. When you really put it loud it is almost as if you are at the Nieuwe Kerk!

I put the picture so you could feel like you're in the church again - sans the random exhibitions and giftshop! (And that funny sign, Hemelse Klanken that they hang in front the organ!)

@@joannescouchet7038 The yellow sign "Hemelse Klanken" they removed last year. It was kind of a Disneyland decoration inside a MacDonalds. Not for the ambiance of the Nieuwe Kerk. We protested fiercely and eventually it did seem to work because suddenly it was gone!

This video is great! I' ve been there once at a concert around afternoon. After the concert there was a change to get a look behind the console. Amazing experience I would never forget. Thanks for the opportunity to remind me of that great time ;)

Organ music (and organ building) flourished in Northern Germany. Perhaps this was related to the religious predominance of protestantism in the region. Luther started his Reformation in Wittenberg and its progress was towards the North European lands, rather than towards the Mediterranean. I submit that the organ music resonates better with the more subdued and introspective Lutheran liturgical solemnity, compared to Catholic more luxurious and extroverted religious services. Perhaps it is due as well to the more extroverted peoples of the warmer Southern European lands. At any rate, German organ music is indeed majestic. Thanks for uploading.

I have to say, nothing really beats a North German prelude like the Bruhns or Buxtehude pieces here in flashiness!

I don't see the indication of tracks in the progressing bar of the music. It might be because you start with 0:08 "Small" Praeludium in e minor
5:02 Choral fantasia upon 'Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland'. Maybe start with 00:08 and 05:02 as an indication?

@@joannescouchet7038 fantastic recording, incredible organ! I attended Winsemius' masterclasses during Haarlem summer academies in 1994 and 1996, I will never forget playing Bach's Passacaglia on this organ with prof. Winsemius as teacher and assistant...Thank You so much for this upload!

@@HarpsichordVinylGallery I've figured out the reason: it's because my timestamps don't start at 00:00 and thus don't cover the full range of the video. When I inserted '00:00 CD Cover' before everything in the description, the tracks appeared. However, if I put it after everything, they do not appear indicating that it also has to be in proper order.

@@joannescouchet7038 ok those tricks that the programmer thinks to help you but in fact makes the use very rigid.
I am puzzling with another visual at the moment. Sometimes a link in the email to RUclips ends up in RUclips in your own video but in the right upper corner are not the following items and suggestions displayed but all the tracks as separate items with the duration of the items which you never indicated anywhere. This is a really functional addition to recordings.
